The fact that everyone hates Apple so much actually makes me like them more.

    Is that wrong?

Apple is in the clear on this.

People just like to hate on Apple bc it's the cool, hip thing to do these days.

If you know the context, this is actually a brilliant post.

The funny this is that back when Wintel ruled all, Microsoft was the one everybody loved to hate. Now they're seemingly irrelevant.

The cool, hip thing to do is own Apple products.

I like iPods, but will I ever go out of my way to own a product that charges $800 more for aesthetics?

    **** no.

I roll my eyes every time I am forced to go into their stores in the Mall.

"Genius Bar". Gotta be ****ting me.

Don't muddle up the "hatred" with reality or common sense... or reading. It's important to have a place to direct all the fauxstrations.

Not really. Apple blew up bc their products are easy to use and have the best interfaces. Only Apple users know this. The ones that don't are the ones that refuse to buy Apple products bc of their silly beliefs about the company, products, and/or their users.

Sprint LTE is LIVE in certain parts of Houston. My sister in law has a Galaxy Nexus on Sprint and her 4G lit up the other day. I ran a speedtest and got about 15mbps. However, don't get the Nexus. I don't know if Sprint is just that terible with it's "3G" but she only gets a max of about 400kbps throughout the day. Then again, Samsung doesn't know how to make CDMA radio's and I don't have any Sprint phones to make a valid conclusion on whether it's the phone or the network.

Oh, and trust me. LTE is completely different than that joke of a network Sprint uses from Clear for it's wholesale 4G Wi-max. It actually works indoors as it uses the 1900mhz spectrum.

If you don't like Samsung phones, then just go with the new EVO. You certainly do not want an LG phone.

You sound like you've bought into the hype too much. "Only Apple users know this". You mean only Apple users believe this.

I think iPods, iPads, iPhones are cool, but when it comes down to Mac vs PC I find it idiotic to spent $1300 dollars for a laptop when I could spend half that on a PC laptop that I know how to operate that would function just as well.

You're paying for aesthetics, if you find it easier to use, good for you. I know my way around computers enough that Windows 7 works just fine for me.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's the best, but you're entitled to your own opinion. As someone who owns a few Apple products along with a ton of Android products, I'll go ahead and say Apple products are straight forward, and easy to use. Plus, they just work. No real need to mess around with them unless you like to root/jailbreak like me. (We are the minority)

I wouldn't dare give my mom an Android tablet, but I got her an iPad and I didn't even have to teach her much about it. Personally? I hate iOS. Love the Macbook though and Lion, and it serves well for development purposes. I can compile Android ROM'S from source on a Mac now :)

I've yet to hear one Apple fanboy convince me why I should pay $800 extra and not be able to right click.

My mouse on my Apple products right-clicks just fine and brings up various menu items (e.g. cut and paste). Right-clicking also brings up program specific options when clicking on items in the task bar or on the desktop.

Actually, the cool, hip thing to do is act like you know better than those you criticize regarding why they make their personal choices, injecting your petty perceptions as their reasoning in an insulting manner.

Whatever gets you through the night.

You're also paying for a higher build quality, better customer service, and actual resell value.

I was referring to touch-screen products. I have a PC. My wife has a Macbook. The price difference wasn't that much. They both work fine. Hell, I worked at Dell for 4 years so I wouldn't consider myself an Apple fanboy.

Btw, a student can get a Macbook for $899.

My wife has a Macbook and she broke the screen, they said it would cost $600 to fix it.

Now I have to figure out how to fix an Apple screen myself whereas if it was a PC I could order a new screen and install it within minutes.
