24 -21 with 2 minutes left after playing the whole game with a garbage qb who gave the ball away 6 times, one of those being an easy touchdown but yeah i see your point, theres NO WAY Texas would have demolished bama in that game if we had at the time the best qb in college football playing instead of a garbage freshman. It wasnt like bamas kryptonite that year was scrambling qb's or anything smh lol

Haters gonna hate and no mack brown isnt overrated, i mean 2 NC appearances and all them 10+ win seasons..come on, it aint easy to do that. He's easily a top 5 coach for his recruiting alone.

I think Brown is an outstanding recruiter, which is a big deal at the college level, obviously. Strictly as a coach? He's as good as his assistants, and yeah, that's meant as a slam.

By this logic, then Texas would have lost to Oklahoma had Bradford not been injured.

Mack Brown doesn't recruit well, but the city of Austin and all that UT has to offer football players recruits well. It's a cool city and the players are treated like Gods there. Plenty of hot willing white women there too.

Tell that to John Mackovic and David MacWilliams. Listen to how recruits talk about Mack Brown and how he made Austin feel like home. Mack Brown is the best recruiter in college football.

Bunch of blind UT homers as usual. Colt sucks, at least VY made plays to win a ship. Colt crumbled like the Nancy boy he is.

At least now y'all can pretend his little bro is him all over again.

Colt may not be good in Cleveland, but to say he sucked in college is idiotic. Stop sippin the haterade for a second and do a little research and then prove your point. (if you can)

I think you're confusing haterade with highly appreciable satiric hyperbole.

Somebody has to be the purposeful counterweight to DD's "next Droo Breez!!11" homerism.

Just stop posting. You don't know **** about Texas football, much less College football.

Yeah because unfortunate injuries just never happen in sports.

I'm straight bro, Colt McCoy was/is a fraud.

Best O-line in ages can neutralize any weak Big 12 defense.

Then he almost got singlehandedly decapitated by Suh in the Nebraska game.

Nancy boy through and through, and I knew he'd have no prayer in the NFL.

Colt McCoy's odds for most improved player next year just improved dramatically.

    Tebow.

Oh yeah, Tebow. The trump card you're all supposedly holding against me in every football discussion henceforth. And it might even work, except you notice the faith Denver had in Tebow by dealing him to the only team who even wanted him around as a backup.

The Browns were reportedly thinking about cutting McCoy after drafting him, and now they've clearly given up on him.

McCoy is a nancy boy who put up ridiculous stats facing 110th ranked pass defenses on the reg.

Now everyone realizes his deer in the headlights look is for real.

Colt McCoy wasn't ever ****, so you Longhorn homers keep thinking he's the second coming of Drew Brees and is better than Matt Schaub (ok, maybe only DD said that). I'll freely admit Case Keenum is no better and probably will never even start an NFL game.

Not sure where anyone said he was going to be a better pro than Brees, Schaub, or anyone else for that matter.

He was a great COLLEGE quarterback...just like the one that preceded him.
