he did choke, but continually passing up big shots at the end of close games when you're the best player on the court, I don't know, seems like he doesn't want to take those shots.

LOL at people still refuse to give Indiana credit. The Pacers are a very good team. Just because you haven't seen them much doesn't change that fact. They still haven't played up to their full potential. Miami did choke, but it's also because their opponent is good.
You have a bottom 3 coach coaching this team man. Everyone should know that. Very surprised they dropped this game. Didn't see the game b/c of work (sucks I have work all weekdays through the next month so can only catch games mostly on weekends or late nights). Anyways, Miami brought their F game offensively tonight. No way they can play any worse. 1) LBJ and Wade both sucked for most of the game AND choked together in the 4th. Usually, at least one shows up. 2) Role players stayed home literally. 23 points combined and no player scored more than 5 points. Ain't gonna happen again, no matter how bad they are. And those role players are bad. I just still don't see Indy beating this depleted Miami team. They simply don't have enough offensive firepower. Wade and James have shot poorly for 2 straight games now, and so they're both due for a "few" good games shooting the ball. If they do, the Pacers are screwed. The Heat can D up this team in the 4th any time. And to add to this, LBJ seemed extremely relaxed after the game. Laughing and making jokes. He knows he sucked. He knows the team sucked. And they still should have won if they just made ONE offensive play. And Granger is dumb for pissing LBJ off. LBJ is going to embarrass his ass for the rest of the series. I originally still had this series at 5 games w/o Bosh. Now it's going to be 6. But the series is at least more interesting. I won't be able to catch game 3, which will be the best game of the series since Indy's crowd going to be pumped. Oh well.
^ Granger hasn't even played well at all and he's going to Indy which should make him heat up a bit. Also, Hibbert hasn't even gotten enough shot attempts to dominate the series as predicted. Pacers have more room to grow than the Heat imo.
He ALWAYS struggles v. Lebron. Don't expect him to heat up. I was surprised he played as well as he did and scored 11 points. Hibbert may play better. But he had only FOUR total 20/10 games all season and none v. the Howard-less Magic so I doubt he put up 20/10 and completely dominate. Some stats for u. LBJ/Wade have shot combined 40% in the series. They haven't shot well one bit so far. They have a lot of room to grow for those 2. Secondly, Miami has shot <10% on 3s both games. BOTH GAMES!!! Basically, Indy can't score in the 4th. If LBJ/Wade was average in the 4th, the Heat would run away with it like in game 1. But both choked like mofos.
Not correct. Pat Riley obviously does not know this. Because he hired Spolstra in the first place, and didn't fire him last year after losing to the Mavs. But then again, I would most certainly take your opinion on basketball over Pat Riley, one of the greatest coaches in the history of the NBA.
Riley also signed Mike Miller, one of the worst signings. There are always exceptions. Spo worked his way up within the Heat organization, and learned under Riley. He has the same philosophy as Riles and thus that's why he's the coach. But he doesn't know how to adjust (and Cuban called him out on it last year in the Finals) WITHIN the game. But that's my opinion. You have 3 of the top 15-20 offensive players in the league, and the team routinely struggles at times to score. That's on the coach. No one else. And you called a final play for chalmers, a guy who shot 2-9 and sucked all game, when you have 2 of the best 5 players in the game? I don't need to say much more.
He's 10-17 on FTs (59%) in the final minute of one possession games this year. That's not going to get it done. He's DRose-like at the line in close games. But that Wade missed layup was even more of a killer b/c that was as much of a gimme as those FTs. The 2 stars choked badly down the stretch.
t_mac1, I guess you won't be convinced the Heat might lose until the Pacers go up 3-1 or 3-2. It might happen.
We'll see. At least the series has my attention now. I didn't bother checking the score once I saw the Heat were up 9 in the first quarter at work. Man I hate working during this time of the year.
