Yeah, ah I mentioned I never played in hardcore mode in the previous games. With that said, I read the article below and it piqued my interest. It definitely seems like it would make the game more meaningful in a way. Granted...one lag out and your anger will reach Hulk-like proportions. http://www.gamespot.com/features/if...Topslot;DiabloIiiIsOut;EmbracingPermadeathAnd

Does anyone have an extra guest pass? IM super on the fence about this game...seriously I want to play it but I dont know if I will like it. Guest passes anyone?!
You should have played the beta when it was open. what guest pass you are talking about, never heard of such a thing.
The boxed copy of the game came with 2 (or 3) diablo 3 guest pass codes, and a world of warcraft guest pass code.
It is a code that comes with your hard copy of the game that lets someone try it out before they buy it, with restrictions I think. you?
Why be on the fence about it? There is a reason, and a darn good one at that, as to why Diablo II was such a hit - it was (and still is) just one of the most *fun* games ever to come down the pike. And D3 takes that fun and updates it into the modern era of PC gaming. What's there to be on the fence about? Just go get it.
I am not one to replay games I guess...I will play something once and be done with it, which is where the dragon lay in my quandry...this game seems (atleast due to past information) one that people have played over and over and over and it takes a special game for me to replay... I thought there would be random multiplayer dungeons but it seems like all you can do is hop in and out of peoples games? Or did I hear wrong?
Looks like some people have been playing and streaming since the game opened, they say they will play until they drop (fall asleep i suppose).
There are games where you play once for the storyline, and then there are games where you play for the evolving challenge, multiplayer fun, and endless quest for phat lewtz. Maps for each game will be randomly generated, with random elite monsters with special abilities and drops. There are also random event that only spawn in a certain % of the games, such as Jar of Souls.
Can't believe they are pulling this greedy ****. At least other games out there you could at least play online with 1 copy installed on 2 computers but the only thing is that you can't both play on the same map. So these idiots are punishing their buyers because of piracy. How much are they charging for extra keys if you already own a legit copy? I'm not just buying it for myself but for my nephews as well. Not that I'm going to buy it now. I'm going to wait to see if this game can be modded. If it can't be modded it's a no buy for me. I can put up with the online BS but if it can't be modded that's too bad.
Another question. If you have an B.NET account of Blizzard other game such as Starcraft 2 can you use that to play Diablo 3 with an account for D3 game and use another account from Starcraft 2 to play online with Diablo 3 both at the same time?
When you initially install Diablo3 it asks you to activate your key first. The key is then tied to your battle.net account which you log in with. If the bnet account doesn't have a key tied to it you can't play diablo on it.
