Smokers don't age well, especially if they are substituting nicotine for food. A lot less food and air = not going to look healthy.
It's pretty obvious Barney's marrying Quinn. I was shooting for Barney and Robin but that would just have been too cliche I guess. Funny show, timing's been kinda weird this season with so many weeks off here and there, but maybe I'm just noticing because it's the first time I'm waching this show live and not on netflix
It doesn't add up. He's to concerned about her "profession". She has indicated that she will quit if she ever settled down but then contradicted that statement in a later episode. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it won't be Quinn. I'm hoping for a Nora reunion.
thats a good point about Nora. I always felt that the way they split up just seemed so...abrupt. In the HIMYM universe, that usually means someone's coming back to tie up a loose string.
After all these years I don't think any one choice is the obvious one. The writers love throw in stuff to purposefully misdirect, even if it's entire character arcs. Hell it could even be B.Spears and they'll retcon a scene for that to make sense.
It can't be. Didn't he say he met his wife at Barney's wedding? There's a rumor that the wife is Spoiler Another spoiler just to make sure Spoiler Barney's sister. Then they could be bros for real.
Well what we know from previous episodes is that she was the roommate of another girl he dated (we only caught a glimpse of her ankles) and she was in attendance in the economics class that Ted accidentally walked in. I don't recall her every being mentioned before so maybe the writers will work around it. As much as I'd like it to be this girl form tonight's episode it is a pretty weak introduction to his future wife so I doubt its her.
Yep. I do hate that Ted's wife won't be introduced until the very last season. Also I don't really care about couples in tv shows but Barney + Robin together created some terrible episodes. I just don't like them as a couple.
I admit Ive never really watched it save for a few minutes here and there, but I thought the whole idea of the show, at least when it first aired, was that you know who is wife is but not the events leading to them getting together. If he's really telling his kids how he met their mother, seems like the show has been rather pointless so far.
Ted did refer to this as the wedding that "went horribly wrong", I hope this doesn't break apart Barney and Robin's marriage.
