I concur. I think it's how she acts.

I think Tywin has figured out that she's not a Stone Mason's daughter a while ago. Arya comports herself like she comes from a family of status, how well read she is and her speech. Don't think he has any idea that she's a Stark though.

agreed...Decent show last night, but the ending was predictible...but Theon is crazy and wants to instill fear...Forgot how awesome Jamie is, too bad he's hardly been used...

I thought this episode was fantastic. I'm enjoying all of the changes at the moment. I think they're well done. Arya, Jon, and Dany's stories have all been altered a great deal. Even Bran's come to think of it. Dany is decidedly more annoying on screen this year. Not sure if this is intentionally written this way or if the actress is reaching, but I find this version of her story to be a bit more interesting than what I read. I can't wait to see how all of these character's situations unfold over the next few episodes. I like not knowing. Arya and Tywin's relationship is very interesting as she has named a third person for the assasin, Dany's trip to the House of the Undying, and Jon's capture by the Wildlings all have me in suspense. I can't wait until next week. "You know nothing Jon Snow"

Oh yeah, and Theon is such a little *****. They have really made him look like a weak, sniveling, coward this season. A boy trying to be a man and not knowing exactly how to go about it. He even hurts his hand when he punches the guy in the face for talking back to him.

Not one of the better episodes. I understand the need to save money and time, but these gaps in the story are getting to me. For example, Jamie escapes and is recaptured, but really all we are shown is Jamie being dragged back to the Stark camp. No shots of him running from some Stark soldiers to escape capture or sneaking out of camp.

Maybe I missed it, but I keep trying to figure out why Jon didn't just kill her when he caught her the second time. or that morning... or... any time. He seems like a bit of an idiot at times. I get they're portraying that he can't for whatever reason that I gather might revolve around him not knowing his mother or some such, ... but cmon'. Stupid is as stupid does.

I think he's fallen for her, which so far hasn't seemed a great idea (but I don't know where the story's going). Not that the One Head can tell the Other Head right from wrong.

I don't think Jon had ever killed anyone execution style before, and on top of that he hadn't expected to be fighting women either.

Does Theon's voice/accent resemble any real-life accent? He sounds like he's doing a Russell Brand impression.

FWIW, it wasn't in the books either. It was simply implied that during his escape, Jaime killed one of the Karstarks. There is A LOT of gaps in the books as well, but it's understandable that HBO has to have even more. Still, the gap you're mentioning is in both.

I knew a lot of people wouldn't like this last episode because of the large amount of dialog in it. It was much more focused on building the characters than actual action. Some of my favorite scenes this season are with Arya/Tywin.

I'm sure you'll get your fill of action later, though.

The episode had it's moments, but was kinda of filler type episode IMO. Tt was my least favorite of the season. I will watch it again when it comes, on On Demand, and see if it seems any better.

I think it's her dirty talk and her overall sluttyness. I like it.

Oh, and I didn't really like the Jaime killing Alton addition to the series.

In last weeks episode Roose Bolton offered to send his basterd Ramsey Snow to retake Winterfell. But as of now he has not appeared. This tells me that Reek was written out of the show period. I'm guessing Ramsey will show up at some point but who knows what changes HBO has made.

I really liked the episode a lot. Not enough action for some people but I loved the flow of it. Though not in the book, the Tywin / Arya scenes have been great and last night was the best so far.

We'll see. There's still time for Ramsey to show up, and hence time for Reek to still be there.

I really liked it, as well. The young actress that plays Arya is simply outstanding (as is the actor playing Tywin). I think she is going to have a long and successful career as an actor. Really, I love the cast selections. The actors playing Robb and Jon Snow are perfect for their roles, IMO, as is the guy playing Theon. The only real weak link that I see so far in the series is the actress playing Dany. I've even grown to like the actress playing Cat, who I thought too old for the role at first, and simply not good looking enough. She's won me over.

Not implied, it was explicitly stated. It just happened "off screen". Catelyn is the only POV character to tell Robb's story. I may be wrong, but I think Jamie's escape happened when Catelyn was off meeting with Renly and that she only heard about the escape attempt when she came back.

I highly doubt it. I just don't think there's enough time to establish Reek and then bring in Ramsay. If they wanted an "A HA" moment, they should've been building his character the moment Theon got to Winterfell. Plus, Roose pretty plainly said that Ramsay was at the Dreadfort and if you take that as true, then it kind of voids the Reek part of the story.

I'm more concerned about there being no Reeds than there being no Reek.

That's true. Given what happens in book 5, the Reeds we kind of important. Wonder how they'll resolve that...
