I'm trying to figure out if I should even bother buying this tonight. I won't be able to play until 2AM CST (is this accurate? read this in a post above), and Max Payne 3 is coming out today. I might just pick up D3 tomorrow.
Yes the servers won't turn on until 2 am Central time. I have a digital copy from the WoW AP and a CE. I am debating on whether to actually go to a midnight launch and get my CE or just play the digital until i can get it tomorrow.
The installer is active, make sure to add it to any firewall exceptions list you may have. It installs fairly quickly, will wait and see how long the patch takes. It is supposed to be less than 100MB but with so many people trying to grab it it may take a while.

Bah, this is BS... my pre-downloaded install files were corrupt somehow, so I'm having to re-download them. Not really a problem, I have a 10 or 15mbs connection, but c'mon guys. For some reason I always have problems installing Blizzard games.

FWIW, this time it downloaded and installed with no problems. Even got pretty good speed... 1.3mb/s or so for a 7.6gig download. Whole thing was done in a little under two hours.
okay so ive never done diablo online before only one player mode... how is the game play?? join a group and defeat quest?? kinda like WoW?
It's the single player except there's other people with you. Mob difficulty scales with the amount of players, beyond that it's the same.
yes and you have options to trade items too. But if you want to play solo you can make a private game and password it.
