He has none. He said he was glad he didn't get drafted by Houston. Which, considering he would've been the 3rd center on the depth chart and probably sent to the D-league to get any meaningful playing time, you can't blame him. Nor can you blame the Rockets for, allegedly, preparing him for what was to come if they drafted him. If I'm Roy Hibbert, the thought of sitting behind Yao for the majority of my career doesn't sound appealing at all. If I'm the Rockets, the thought of giving signficant playing time to a rookie center when you're gunning for a title doesn't sound appealing at all, either. The idea that Hibbert habors some kind of resentment towards the Rockets over this obvious reality is just silly nonsense that has been pumped around here by DDrama queens.
yes i can promise you if Hibbert was offefred the max from Houston and the pacers didn't match it he would come here with all smiles… He knows it's a business and i doubt he sits around thinking of what Houston did to him blah blah blah/..

Hibbert is good but he is not in position to say anything like he were a superstar. Dleague is legit place to improve as well.
Houston aint going to get no all-star for cheap. We have no option but to overpay. It looks like every player we want we give up on because they gon match our offer. Same story for a while, so let's stop the we paying too much crap worries.

I would offer brook lopez 5yr 55m which is a little more than jordan and in line with gasol and force nj to match. If they did,he would have permission on where he could be traded for at least a yr. I would pair him up with a javele mcgee type.
face it, if u wanna win u have to offer big contratcs, but Hibbert isn't a max guy and won't get a max contract.. Max contract guys under the new cba will be franchise changing players (LeBron, D-wade, Kobe, Dirk, D-Rose, etc..) plus i think if Miami fails with 3 max contract guys then teams will run from that model, guys like Hibbert are 11 mill a season type guys not 15 mill+… if the Pacers do that then they won't be able to keep Granger or george down the road because they will want bigger contracts as well.. also, i think if miami loses to the pacers they will trade Bosh.. and start a different approach with everything being centered around LeBron and D-wade.. then fill it out with better quality..
I had doubts...but he's saying all the right things and apparently he starting to work out with Duncan....Can't go wrong with a center that's already solid and is now being mentored by Tim Duncan.
If that happened, Hibbert may have been the first NBA player to become an All-Star player after being assigned or sent down to the D-League. Most future all-star players or quality starters tend not to end up in the D-League. I think the D-League helps certain players, but it's not going to turn a mediocre player into a very good player. One thing that hurts in D-League, the competition level has a big drop-off, unlike Eurobasketball.
don't want him. i'd rather have mr. eyebrows, greg smith. no, i'm kidding. As someone who complains about the fabulous divas that have infested the nba with their douchiness, Hibbert is a class act and talented. he's work hard to get to this point and as a basketball fan, I'd like to see him stay in that indiana market. It's good for the game. Maury is just going to have to stop drafting 6'8 tweeners and start selecting 6'10 or taller. =)
I don't know a lot about Hibbert but if he has a strong competitive drive and is a hard worker, it is very hard to find talented 7'2" players with those qualities.
Of course he is. Like he said like I said. No drafted player wants to be put in the scrub azzz D league to start their career. No matter Moreys record on who he doesnt have anymore to prove it works.
