Pretty much this. I'm continually surprised at the hero worship the OP receives for bragging about taking advantage of desperate, sad women. I've worked at a place that had a lot of customers who were both strippers and owners/managers of their establishments. The only thing more pathetic than the tired women who came in were their handlers who thought they were hot **** for being a glorified pimp. Some scumbag on a street corner peddling cracked out whores doesn't get respect or admiration from anyone and neither should a little wannabe pimp begging for attention on the internet. Its already been said in this thread but worth repeating -- Clutchfans is a well-respected, well represented source of information for Rockets basketball and a known commodity to the organization and its players as well as the media. I don't think a 14 page thread on Sammy D's exploits at El Hitman's club or the supposed favors $100 can purchase from Candy Coke w**** is what Clutch wants to be putting out there
You're acting like it's 14 pages worth of details. So he got a lap dance and drank too much, big deal. He's a grown man and the season is over for him. The only thing we can confirm is that he was there. This board has bigger problems than reporting a player's birthday outing at a strip club. If it's not locked or deleted by now, i'm guessing no one complained to Clutch.
this. i remember a while back when the rockets blocked clutch from doing preseason coverage because they wanted all the info to flow through the rockets.com site. the site was in an uproar because we considered ourselves to be big and legit enough that this was a big deal. i remember droxford and me calling into a radio show to complain about this. had a thread been made by a cf member pimp about how griffin was at a shady strip and pics were posted at the time, there is no way the rockets would have let clutch back in. kelly dwyer linked to this thread. there are now rockets fo ppl who are reading about a rox player at a strip joint/brothel. just saying....if i was looking to block clutchfans from doing anything with the organization, i just found my excuse.
All that really matters. Dalembert is free to get lap dances, drink, and take pictures with strippers. If the Rockets have a problem with that, then they need to take it up with him. Clutchfans isn't the only place where pictures can be uploaded and people can post experiences with players.
I think its cool that you run strip clubs and stuff but I don't like how you talk about womans somtimes. I dunno if you have kids, but when you do I hope you get nothing but females so you will know whats its like on the other side.
