Agreed! Thank goodness they scooped Barmes off our hands! Save us probably 4 million and upgrade with Lowrie. Weiland looks like the extra toss in but maybe he can turn out to be a major league pitcher.

I'm too busy, not even watching the NBA playoffs really other than a few minutes. :(

I have already watched more games than I did all last year. Heck, probably more than the last 2 years.

They are a young, fun team.

It looks like the umpires were right according to this from MLB.com:

"A BUNT is a batted ball not swung at, but intentionally met with the bat and tapped slowly within the infield."

Barmes would argue that he did not "intentionally" hit the ball. It would be interesting to see what the official scorer would have done had the ball been fair and advanced the runner. He should call it an FC. If that were the case, Barmes would have argued for a sacrifice. :)

Well, Happ wasn't very good, but 2 of those runs were inherited. His final line translates to a game score of 38.

He sucked as usual, he left with runners on 2nd and 3rd and nobody out, You can't expect those runners to be stranded.

he hasn't been terrible, but consistently bad or mediocre.

I absolutely hate Mills' lineup decisions. Yes, Martinez is struggling, but you've got to give him time to work himself out of his slump. And Altuve should not be hitting third.

Can't wait till we have Bidge managing this team...

Well, they are playing. The forecast said the rain probability was to increase as the day wears on.

Looked like they wouldnt play at all. I expect play to stop again at some point though.

I guess it was too early to pinch hit for Wandy, but really needed more than 1 run that inning.
