Not at all. This trade works for Miami as well. It gives them a dominant frontcourt, potentially, with Bosh and Jordan.

Much like last season when a lot of ppl were swirling rumors of a Bynum for Howard trade, Jordan's not put up dominant numbers of late, but his ceiling is tremendous and Miami, I think, would listen to something like this.

As far as Houston goes, Butler and Haslem aren't exactly the STAR players I want....but we're getting good return for only giving up Patrick Patterson.

I wouldn't be so quick to say that. If they don't win it this season, the prevailing thought will be that LeBron and D Wade can't coexist.

It's not too far-fetched that Riley will want to get rid of one of them and simply build around the other.

That Miami trade is literally the worst thing I have ever seen proposed.

We give up Lowry and Patterson for a has been and a never was?

Yes, they are unproven players - all have upside and weakness to their game. Where one player is weak the other is strong thus making them a solid young team that will grow-up as a team. Think of this as a team of Parsons (but with more up side) at every postion - which would be fun to watch; IMO.

The lottery is were we are now, year after year. So re-building is really a bad thing?

You maybe right about Favors I'd put a future or the 18th pick if need be to close the deal.

    PG: Dragic/Harris
    SG: Burks/Lee
    SF: Parsons/Miller
    PF: Montiejunas/Scola
    C: Pekovic/Favors/Smith

    Lowry and Houston's 14 and 16 pick
Portland's 6th pick via Brooklyn to Houston

Unless of course the rockets get in into top 3 and Brooklyn also gets he top 3 in which case they keep it.

Then ship Martin to Minnesota for their 18th pick and pekovich.

Resign camby Dragic and lee to reasonable contract. Offer harden the max front loaded contract. Cut Sammy d. Draft Barnes with the 6th and a pg with 18 pick. Convince monty to join the rockets. Amnesty scola.

Pg- Dragic veteran backup 18 pick
    Sg- harden lee
    Sf- Barnes pardons Morris
    Pf- patpat Monty
    C- pekovich camby

I still think we have money to sign a max contract in 2013

I really feel that we need a center & the best route to go would be the draft with top centers being restricted, unlikely able to trade into the top 5, & D. Howard not wanting to play here. So I propose we target M. Leonard as I've said many times. Would you trade P. Patterson plus our #14 to NO or POR at #10 or #11 to draft M. Leonard & make room for D. Motiejunas?

    - I don't see the team amnestying L. Scola & D. Motiejunas did say L. Scola was a player he looked up to growing up.
    - With Camby wanting to resign, M. Leonard wouldn't have to start immediately & would play backup. Then decline S. Dalembert's option if we can't trade him.
    - Also with both teams having 2 lottery picks & are rebuilding a young PF would be great. Essentially adding 3 players in the 1st rd of the draft.

We'd be rebuilding & mentoring our front-court with young 7ft's for the future!

Tyreke Evans has been on the trading block for a while as well as Josh Smith. So I worked on a 4 team trade that would upgrade the Rockets.

Rockets: Josh Smith & James Harden

Hawks: Luis Scola & Kyle Lowry

Kings: Thabo Sefolosha, Nick Collison, and the #16 pick via the Rockets (NYK pick)

Thunder: Kevin Martin & Tyreke Evans

if u compare the 2012 FA list to 2013 u will see that if we really wanna get better we should try and make as much cap space as we can because 2013 is LOADED with franchise players..

2012 sucks and i honestly do not want Morey to make panic moves to please the masses, then we have no cap space next summer..

i say bring over the D-mo and maybe even Lull, trade scola, lowry and kmart for draft picks over the next couple of seasons.. and even some nba talent that won't take up cap space and resign Dragic…

we could set ourselves up for a top 10 draft pick in 2013 and possibly more, plus the cap space to pursue a guy like Harden and CP3..
