This thing has infested a bunch of apps. Basically hijacks your android smartphone browser and changes default page to searchmobileonline.com. adds icons to your phone, sends you adds through the android notification bar. My wife's HTC EVO 3D has been infested by this. Apparently, antiviruses don't pick these types up because they're not considered malware, but more like adware. Lookout and both AVG whiffed on it. I suggest everyone take a second look at their android internet browser next time they open it up.
I didn't realize the Android malware was at the point where AVG and Avast we're actually needed for your phone.
infested. always kinda liked that word. Apparently you do too. anyway sorry about your wifes phone. I got a new phone like 6 months ago and havent loaded one app. Seems to work better instead of all these app killers programs and stupid ass games. My advice of not really loading any apps may not be realistic to your needs in a phone, but most of the apps I see are 98% **** anyway.
