You do know there is a good reason why Morey has already started a campaign to keep Dragic. More than likely over Lowry.
You know what it means. Dragic starting for an entire season instead of the last 2 months of the season.
Coming off the bench during the first part of 2011, Stuckey was bad. I'll give you that Coachbadlee. 9.2 points, 2.6 rebs, 4.1 assists. 41% FG. 22% 3P. Since becoming a starter during 2011, he's really come into his own. Now, there was a stretch where Ben Gordon started over him, but Stuckey was battling a hamstring injury.
Just curious...do you all think a backcourt of Dragic and Stuckey would work? Stuckey's 6'5" and has more of a scorer's mentality.
So, what's the problem? I traded away Lowry in the deal to Detroit, not Dragic. It may be a little far-fetched to think DET would take what I offered for Stuckey and the 9th pick, but I don't think there'd be a problem if we threw in Morris and a future 1st.

A scorers mentality is only a positive when you are good at it. His TS% and eFG% is terrible for a guard. His only competitive advantage is being big for the PG position, that goes away if he is marking a SG
PG Goran Dragic/Sergio Llull SG Bradley Beal/Courtney Lee SF Chandler Parsons/Marcus Morris/Bud PF Luis Scola/Patrick Patterson C Camby/Dalembert then trade Bud, Scola for J-Smoove PG Goran Dragic/Sergio Llull SG Bradley Beal/Courtney Lee SF Chandler Parsons/Marcus Morris PF Josh Smith/Patrick Patterson C Camby/Dalembert
Here's a doozy I worked up. Keep in mind, this is provided that the Miami Heat DO NOT win the NBA Championship this year (or even make the Finals). I've gotta think Pat Riley will be looking to make some changes if it doesn't happen. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=744du48 HOU gets Caron Butler Udonis Haslem LAC gets Dwayne Wade Patrick Patterson MIA gets DeAndre Jordan Kyle Lowry Eric Bledsoe In addition to Miami's trying to get the right pieces in place for next season, this gives the Clippers the star SG they'd like to team up with Chris Paul to make a title run next season. As far as the Rockets, they get a physical presence at the 3 in Butler and a gifted rebounder in Haslem. Throw in a 40% 3 point shooter in Jones, and we come out of this a winner as well.
