Lakers are still way more talented. It's a shame that this went 7 games b/c of Bynum's laziness and immaturity. he could easily be the best player in this series, and now he's the laughinstock. But he just needs to dominate the next game, which he can easily do, and the Lakers win easily. But they're going to get wiped out by OKC though.
The lakers will shoot 30 more free throws than the Nuggets and win easily. Imagine game 6 in Denver, Lakers shot 30fts to Nuggets' 17.
Easier said than done. Never was a big fan of Bynum, but hey, they aren't any good centers like the old days. He is light years away from Hakeem skll set, also behind on strength than Shaquille. He is slow, immature, and has Kobe as a mentor
Why is this game on so late? The nba ain't doing themselves any favors by putting game 7 on at 10:30 PM eastern time. That's ridiculous.

They're either a game away from finally meeting the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference semifinals, or a game away from the end of their season. Should the Lakers lose Saturday in Game 7 of their first-round series against the Denver Nuggets, Magic Johnson has a definite idea on what will happen next. "They're going to run Mike Brown first out of town," Johnson said as an ESPN NBA analyst Friday. "Then second will be [Andrew] Bynum. Then third will be [Pau] Gasol." Whether that will happen remains unclear. The Lakers' front office has publicly praised Brown's performance as head coach in his first season. Brown, who makes an average of $4.5 million a year, has two more guaranteed years followed by a team option. The Times' Mike Bresnahan talked to Lakers General Manager Mitch Kupchak, who indicated in March his intention to exercise the $16.1-million option for the last year of Bynum's contract. Gasol had been the subject of endless trade rumors since the Lakers' attempt to trade him for Chris Paul. The Lakers forward is owed $38.3 million for the next two seasons. ESPN analyst Chris Broussard expressed skepticism that Brown's job security is in jeopardy, but Johnson stayed insistent. "His job will go," Johnson said. "The Lakers are about championships. That's what the Lakers are about. If they lose this game, Mike Brown, I bet you, will not be sitting there." Johnson sold his 4.5% stake in the Lakers in 2010, but he remains on the payroll as a vice president. He's also become part of Guggenheim Baseball Management, the new Dodgers ownership group. But Johnson hasn't shied away from sharing his opinions on the Lakers. Before the Dallas Mavericks swept the Lakers in the 2011 NBA Western Conference semifinals, Johnson vowed for Lakers owner Jerry Buss to "blow this team up." No! I appreciate Laker fans running their frontcourt out of town, but I need them to have Mike Brown for continual suckage. Mike Brown coaching a team of Kobe, Sessions, Scola, Martin, and Nene would be fun to watch. Iso-Kobe evry play, Martin trying to cover small forwards. I'd like it.
I guess if the Lakers lose, they might go back into the Dwight Howard market, which is probably the best deal either team will get. If I am the Magic, that's what would be #1, unless Brooklyn nets a high pick from the lottery. Lopez, First Round pick, and another player to Orlando for Dwight Howard. Another good trading partner is Atlanta.
If they lose, look for a complete change of the roster. Brown will be fired, Pau will be gone, and the role players will change. Kobe and Bynum will stay by default. Kobe has a no trade-clause, and Bynum is still a year away from making potentially max money.

Magic dump Hedo and get a new young center. Atlanta dumps two of their albatross contracts for a similar talent in Gasol and some smaller ones. Lakers get a new, very frightening frontcourt, a good three point shooter (who will get a LOT of open shots), and a replacement for Odom. When Kobe retires, they can build around Horford-Howard. Yikes.
Al Horford and Josh Smith are albatross contracts. And all you get is one player who is more expensive? And World Peace's terrible contract?
Great minds think alike except I believe there is a chance Brown would stay. Pau is a goner either way. I said before the playoffs Mike Brown, Scott Brooks and Eric Spoelstra would be coaching for their jobs.
That's an interesting deal and would benefit all teams. Though for some reason, I'd have an itching to think that Magic might want Horford or Smith, while the Lakers only really need one, since both are more suited for power forward and would take on less salary cap burden. So the Magic pretty much either end up with Andrew Bynum with LAs future picks or Andrew Bynum with Al Horford (or Josh Smith). I figured Atlanta would probably get the picks (Orlando's first round pick and LA's next year first round pick), mostly from this year's draft. End up with Pau Gasol, Josh McRoberts, and Metta World Peace (Ron Artest). They'll have two picks around 19-23. Possible draftees: Andrew Nicholson, Terrence Ross, Dion Lamb, Dion Waiters, Royce White, Fab Melo,or any players that might fall on the board. The Lakers would have take on Turkoglu's salary, yet they'd be receiving Mr. Howard and/or Horford (with/without Smith).
Lump me in with the folks that think Mike Brown is gone if they lose this series. This is LA we are talking about. Blowing a 3-1 lead is unacceptable especially when you're supposed to be the better team. This is Mike Brown we are talking about he isn't a respectable coach well at least perception wise he isn't. Not sure how he is viewed inside the NBA.
