The grizzlies were down by 8 points. The grizzlies took it to them. Was Foye's turnover big, yes. But it certainly didn't lose them the game.
What is an NBA refs excuse for falling for a Reggie Evans flop at this point in his career? Pretty embarrassing for the NBA to not even get it right with one blatant offender.
Well, good game clutchfans. Memphis had a good gameplan (esp. liked riding the bigs and the late Haddadi sub) and made a nice comeback in the 4th. To put it politely, I wasn't a big fan of Vinny's substitutions down the stretch (why pull Bledsoe & Evans for Foye & Blake?) and the only solace I can take over the now-likely series loss is that he will hopefully be canned for a coach with more experience. CP3 is clearly hobbled which was unfortunate, but this game was winnable regardless. In the grand scheme it doesn't matter because honestly neither of these teams has a shot in hell against the Spurs, who are super rested now, but, as a fan of a horrible franchise, it's always nice to see them win a series (something I have only seen once in twenty years of being a fan, lol). Maybe next year.
No. But he should call himself out for not helping his team enough... should have closed this series out in 6 because memphis should be the better team with more experience. Flopping exists.... is nothing new. Memphis having problems with an inferior team is somewhat new.
What's to be confused about? The Spurs are on like a 20 game winning streak and are winning every game by double digits. They are the best team in the NBA by far and, honestly, both the Grizzlies and the Clippers are beat up and not playing very good ball.
Zach Randolph is a big reason why they aren't eliminated right now so no he shouldn't call himself out. At the end of the day what he said is true about the Clippers.
Uhhh. He's playing through injuries and he's clearly not healthy nad yet he's helping the team. It's funny how Tony Allen and Z-Bo's injuries get 0 publicity.
yea boii.!!! knew the grizz was gonna take dis!!! anyone arguing wit me otherwise before about the clippers taking this series can go cry themselves a river. and thats putting it politely ;-) grizz in 7. as predicted.
Sadly, game 7s are rarely competitive and the home team usually wins in a blowout. The Clippers have maybe a 10% chance because the only ref agenda is going to be the natural bias from the home crowd, but the Nuggets have no chance at all against Joey Crawford, David Stern, & co. Feel sorry for them because they are the better team.
