(Take THAT, "PATRIARCHY!"). The "crunchier women" movement has been going on for a while and gradually picking up steam. Women trying to be more National Geographic progressive with their presense in the world. Trying to bring back home births, making laws more "family friendy" and all that. Trying to be more like Sweden. Its "When Cafemom.com Takes Over The World". I don't know why women have to keep doing these things for "empowerment", complicating stuff trying to out-compete their female peers for progressive superiority, but its what it is.

I have been looking for a place to post this video for the past few weeks. This looks like the perfect place. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/5Sng883ooNU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
In some third world countries the mother will feed their children off their breast until their early teens, but this is done out of hunger and severe poverty.
Adding, this woman is so beautiful that no one probably ever told her that this was an exceptionally bad idea. And the five-year-old adopted kid, too? If it's possible, that's even more f---ed up. Obligatory: Spoiler It's like Alicia Silverstone, vomiting all her disease/pre-chewed food into her child's mouth, under the guise of natural parenting. (Click the link; it's a thing.) We get it. The nation once collectively got a little tight in the pants when you jumped off the bridge in that Aerosmith video. Ha ha! You were not suicidal, but secretly bungee corded all along, and your middle finger of pointless rebellion briefly embiggened us all. (Right after the video ended, the cops would have just hauled your ass back up, and off to jail. But still, sure, rebellious jailbait awesomeness all around.) But your beauty is making you a bad parent. Never in your life hearing "No," or even the words, "Um, maybe not?" to even the most hare-brained of ideas: totally okay when you're just following your own flights of fancy, not so good when a child's well-being is also at stake. No need to reinvent parenting, or for a new age of Super-Moms. We get it. You're hot. Now be a mother.
Not the first time Time has covered this kinda thing. http://www.time.com/time/health/article/0,8599,1878917,00.html Salma Hayek breastfeeding
You said it in shorter words - We GET it. (I see, it releasing this mag in time for Mother's Day to look like a jerk for not lending big supports.) Maybe I see the world in a really simplistic way. "Super Mom" = "No-Dad Overcompensation". You see these "Super Moms", and also see divorce rates INCREASING, women initiating 3 of 4 divorces. And you still see the "bridezillas". It doesnt add up. I'm beginning to think these social netorking tools now is like a year round scrapbook for women to narrate their childrearing, and either complain outright or insinsuate how men need to "catch up". Hey, people like snarky hipster chicks. Thats what you get with it on the other side lol. Yeah lol. Thanks for condensing it for me
