Is that the same channel that made the preseason games look like I was watching a local high school football game on TV?

Preseason games are on channel 13 ABC.

I believe that this will be a simulcast of ESPN's coverage. I think there is some rule that states that the local game has to be on an OTA station yada yada, Jet Blast will know.

    No, that's Channel 13, KTRK.

Channel 11 will simulcast the ESPN feed. There won't be any difference between Channel 11 and ESPN.

OK, so the point is just to make sure non-cable households can watch.

    Cool.

On the subject of networks, and Texans games. I really hope they have made some changes to their preseason games on Channel 13. They are horrible! Joel Meyers makes me wanna kick a kitten, lol.

This is great. I hate looking for it on 39. Any news on the Thursday day night game?

Our only Thursday game is played at 1130 AM. It will be shown nationally over the air on CBS. They will be playing at Detroit on Thanksgiving Day.

If you mean the Thanksgiving game against Detroit, that game will be on CBS.

The Texans will be on Channel 11 thirteen times this season (11 CBS games and 2 ESPN MNF games).

So do CBS local station gets to air its own commercials here? Or is it kind of a charity thing or advertising for Texans Sunday games?
