I know there have been a lot of trades involving Chris Bosh, assuming the Heat don't win the NBA championship this year, so I thought I would add to it. I would honestly give OKC whatever they want for James Harden. This guy is an up and coming star, someone Houston has been needing for a while. ***I know this is all a pipe dream *** http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7tsh52e Houston receives: James Harden, Andre Iguodala, & Nick Collison Miami receives: Luis Scola, Kyle Lowry, & Daequan Cook, 1st round pick via OKC (late pick) Oklahoma City receives: Chris Bosh + 1st round pick via Houston (#14) Philadelphia receives: Kevin Martin + 1st round pick via Houston (via NYK) Offseason: Resign - Lee, Dragic, Camby Sign - Roy Hibbert Line Up: PG: Dragic/llull SG: Harden/Lee SF: Iguodala/Parsons/Budinger/Morris PF: Collison/Motiejunas/Patterson C: Hibbert/Camby/DalembertPossibly trade Patterson, Morris, Budinger for draft picks.
I've heard that Portland is willing to move some of their draft picks. Maybe Morris and Patterson for a 1st round pick. Also, I think Dalembert may have a player options, which I don't think we would pick up.
I'll take Favors, Milsap or jefferson.... and give up any combo of the following: Kmart/Scola/Bud/Sam/Lull rights + a first rd pick this year + the future Dallas pick...
If Bynum stays healthy all of next season, would y'all take a chance on signing him next summer? His past scares me, but both him and Dwight will be free agents next year.
I'd also take Okafors contract and giveup any of the following: Scola/Kmart/Bud/Sam/PPat/MMo to swap first rd picks...
I wouldn't mind signing O.J. Mayo just to see if we can steal him from Memphis; their payroll is getting untenable: would they match? Of course, then there's C. Lee's contract situation. The Raptors have cap space and will have much more this offseason. Supposedly they're looking to upgrade at PG; Calderon's going into his last year. They also need to add a SF. As they don't need/want rooks (outside of ADavis), would Lowry/Morris for the #8 pick entice them at all? We'd shed $7-ish million bucks and have the #8, #14, #16 picks to package in a deal.
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7d9xhg8 Houston receives: Josh Smith, Andre Iguodala, Evan Turner Atlanta receives: Kyle Lowry & Luis Scola Philadelphia receives: Kevin Martin, Marcus Morris and/or Patrick Patterson, 1st round pick from Houston via NYK Resign: Dragic, Camby, Lee Sign another center McGee/Hibbert/Asik/Hawes PG: Dragic/Llull SG: Lee/Turner SF: Iguodala/Parsons/Budinger PF: Smith/Montiejunas C: FA/Camby/Smith
I would do Iggy for Martin in a heart beat. Martin in a 1 dimensional player. Iggy can give you something on both ends of the floor.
Not high on OJ Mayo but really like the "Lowry/Morris for the #8 pick" and the "#8, #14, #16 picks to package in a deal(s)" part.
