Went to Bellaire. Both houses I have bought have been purchased since they are zoned to it.

    Ranked 349th

Honestly if you are in the honors program you are going to have an easy time in college and all my peers went to the elite schools.

The rankings for Bellaire go down since there are so many lower income kids in areas that are historically rougher that simply don't score as well for one reason or another. You can't compare Bellaire to Clemens or Memorial where all the kids come from well to do families.

Really? Good. This will now be my excuse for never having a girlfriend while I went to high school there.

Apparently my High School needs me back. I'd have brought all of these up with my my 3 AP exams and perfect scores on the math and english exit exams.

Lamar High School is #32 in Texas? Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and take this with a grain of salt.

Man it is just ranked that high because every kid there is a magnet student with some poetential for college. When I was in school if you didn't get into Bellaire or Lamar on a transfer you went to HSHP to avoid going to Westbury or Sharpstown.

LOL, none of the high schools in Spring ISD are on the list. You have to use the search function to get their stats...

Ya I went to Elkins and Hightower, Hightower is #108, Elkins, not surprisingly, is unranked...

We had some dumb asses in my grade and our teachers were God awful...

Overall it wasn't a bad school though, I always felt we had a good mix of Hispanics, Asians, Blacks, and Whites. Not a lot of behavioral issues either.

Hightower on the other hand...my first day there there was a latin gang fight. Someone got shanked in the cafateria....btw best thing about Hightower was their lunches...and block scheduling

That isn't true, because you can't transfer into DeBakey son, you can only test in from first year.

The test to get in is relatively simple. A bunch of kids make it, then fail and transfer to another school.

Lamar High School ranked #32 (#376 National)!! How the... I thought for sure it would rank something like #857 in Texas, right in front of Yates.
