Has to be because Dwight is not coming to Houston. The last few years of star chasing should have taught some by now. I knew when Chris Bosh shot us down that there was no chance. Time to turn the page.
Gogi and DWill is possible and is actually what I would prefer over the other two combinations. Gogi would have to be talked into playing alongside Dwight/Dwill as the third of the Big 3.
D-Will/Lee, no doubt. Williams is the best player of the group. You can pick&roll and flex to death with him. Lee excels at spotting up and moving without the ball. Good defender, too. Dragic and Gordon are both good players, but both are at their best with the ball in their hands, though neither is as good as Deron Williams.
The better comparison would be: Gogi/whoever Gordon's backup is VS. Dwill/Lee. Since Gordon has yet to prove that he can stay healthy.
If deron doent go to dallas,he's going to portland. If deron goes to dallas,cuban will sell him on taking less to play with dirk and to get howard the following yr. Dirk contract is up after this season. In other words, houston will be playing 3rd fiddle for awhile.
