The Wizards, Hornets and Kings are all solid in 2k if you use them right and have good shooters on the floor.
My god the AI is a cheat on HOF. I was nailing 3s with Joe Johnson on Superstar, but I couldn't make any- even open ones-HOF. Plus they're point guards would sprint in and ride the back of Horford to get rebounds, ridiculous.
i already embarassed my friend with the rockets and when i beat him he was complaing saying when did dalembert and camby go to the rockets
I love when that happens. I win by around 15-20ish with the rocks when people play with those teams. Just D up. Those guys can't play defense at all if you run the right plays.
^^ It's not that I can't beat them, I trashed them in the past, was ranked top 200 in earlier 2k titles and beat top 10 guys. But nowadays I want to enjoy the game of basketball, these guys using star teams almost never have ball-iq and I just don't see the point of wasting 30 minutes of my life beating a scrub when I don't feel it. I now quit every game when the other guy tries to play cheese and excessively uses offball-d, cherrypicks or goes iso all the time instead of playing as a team. Doesn't satisfy me anymore to beat random dudes on the internet, unless they play in a realistic way, have ball-iq and are competitive.
That's true, I don't play a lot online anymore (I play on PC now though so that contributes to it.) too much cheesing, the AI always gives me a good challenge. Even with all that rubber-banding late in games.
I knew someone was going to say something lol. It's hard to block against these nuggets, they can't shoot for **** but you give them some room & a second close to the rim & they dunk the air out of the ball. Especially Pack. Everything else is a foul. Thorpe is a rebounding machine not to mention everyone on this rocket team is pretty tall for their position excluding Brooks, so they get their own boards instead of Hakeem of stealing them lol. 4 of the 7 rebounds were offensive though.
I'm mostly on Association mode or My Player. The thing I like about association is the CPU offers me lots of dumb trades. Sometimes I feel bad for accepting them. Some rosters on 2kshare (XBOX 360 version at least) have Donatas Motiejunas' and Jonas Valanciunas' in Free Agency with their real faces. One that I'm pretty damn sure does is under the gamertag "vtcrb". It's called the OS Trifecta Roster Set. It's the Operation Sports community edited rosters. It's actually very good (except they horribly underrated Chandler Parsons' defense).
Does anyone's 2k glitch while playing with Parsons and generate him with black arms? Also, Rick Adelman sometimes is generated with black hands. Tobias Harris is the only player I've seen generated with midnight black arms. I guess it is a rookie glitch, maybe?
That's because Parsons and Rick are some of the biggest wiggers and Tobias wishes he was blacker because of his name.
I tried to be a big man in my player, it's impossible. Also, anyone have getting shots to fall? I'll launch threes perfectly with some of the best three point shooters in the game, and they clank off the side (of course, it's impossible to get an offensive rebound).
That is frustrating in this game, but I like that the players don't make every WIDE open shots. When the game is somewhat close it sucks, but it makes it a little more competitive than previous years. It also seems like hot streaks don't mean as much as in previous games
