Goran Dragic is packing

I told you that his next gift would be a new car unless he had that car for a while

 

Series 3? That's still humble. I wouldn't go Arenas but I would not go Dragic either, kudos to him for keeping it real and being so down to earth.

 

I assumed he would get a Kia Rio. Goes great with a Dynex.

 

Great that he doesn't go crazy with his money. But it's a huge upgrade from his car in Slovakia

 

No my friend you are dead wrong. Here in Slovenia we have a custom where anybody famous who is returning home receives a shirt from our Chief. This shirt is washed in clear water for 12 times and then worn by Chiefs virgin daughter for 12 days. Then this shirt is ready for our famous cousin to wear when he gets home. And then, as you already know, we all sing songs and dance around camp fire.

 

I can't believe everyone is pole jocking Goran for living sensibly. Every month it seems you hear of another ex-nba player going broke because they lived beyond their mean.

I used to work as a bank teller a couple years back, and I tell you..the dudes who'd roll up in a Range Rover, decked out head to toe with designer clothes would often times have less than 1K in their account, as opposed to the guy who rolls up in a 96 Honda wearing sweat pants who has 700K in multiple accounts.

That's why this nation is in the crapper, because too many people let material possession rule their life and feel like they need to spend spend spend.

I'm glad Dragic keeps it real. Some people who come from humble beginnings and make some money have a need to flaunt it, while others have the mentality that they need to protect it. Seems he's the latter. Dragic is the man.
