There's an alarming number of people in this thread that think baseball doesn't take a toll on your body.

i want to be the michael jordan of the wnba....retire after winning 3 championships then move on to the nba.

i be dunkin on deez b****es and i will bring a new meaning to the word facial.

i think a better poll would be baseball or basketball considering both are fun to play and one pays more.

Answer from my heart: NBA. By far my favorite sport both to follow and to play
Answer from my brain: Golf. Just about no risk of injuries, and get good cash training rich people until a fairly advanced age.

This depends on how good you are on their respective sports but if it's like top 20 player in the world, the answer is EASILY golf. 25-30 year career, tons of money, only have to play as much as you want to after you get to a certain point, no loss in quality of life due to stress on the body, etc. Maaaaaybe tennis if you're consistently top ten.

If I could be the best in the world at something. Heavyweight boxer. Nothing like knowing you could kick almost anyone's ass and everyone calling you champ. I would be Floyd Mayweather and make all the dough from my fights.

If I can be just very good at something. Probably basketball. I would love to be the highest paid scrub like Rashard Lewis.

If I was fully healthy, at least 10 years younger, could commit the time and resources to train I wouldn't mind trying the UFC. At the risk of sounding like an internet tough guy I have won some money in grappling fights and had the opportunity to compete more with Team Bison (where Brett Rogers and Sammy Morgan trained at) and possibly with Pat Miletich. At that point though I was already starting to get broken down and didn't think my body could handle that much competition or commit to full time training.

As far as team sports I would definitely choose the NBA.

Just curious, did you train both Judo and BJJ?

NBA or EPL, because of the strippers and swags.

I mostly do Judo but trained in BJJ and Hapkido for a few years and also dabbled in a few other arts.

NBA - I love playing basketball

My next choice would be MLB, but the thought of a 100mph fast ball headed for me scares the crap out of me (Heck, an 80mph one does). Even worse would be as a pitcher with the potential for one to be hit right back up the middle.

I'd be the next great American olympic weightlifter. The US hasn't had a medalist since 1984 and hasn't had a truly great lifter since Tommy Kono in the 50s-60s.
