What a shocker. Lamarr Houston has been reinstated for the Arkansas game. Proof positive that UT doesn't give a schit about controlling their football team. Where are all the UThug defenders now? http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/headline/sports/5990489.html
When in the hell did I mention a damned thing about the ethnicity, race, or even the name of any of the people arrested? YOU are the ONLY person in this thread to mention race. Then, to back it up, you make the asinine comment that the are several Longhorn players arrested each day, yet the only ones talked about are of a race other than white. I seriously doubt that several Longhorn players are arrested each day. You have offered nothing to substantiate that claim. You instead accuse me of being a racist. I did not start this thread, nor did I make mention of anybody's race. How many was the several Longhorn players arrested today?
1) That isn't my blog 2) A sure fire sign of the loser of an argument is the one who resorts to name calling. I'll be the bigger man and not take the same path.
More arrests! I guess the Austin PD is sick of the thuggery going on at UT-Austin branch.....especially since they don't win many games anymore! http://tablet.kxan.com/10023/4165638/ AUSTIN (KXAN) – Three football players at the University of Texas at Austin were arrested early Monday after a disturbance at a downtown night spot. A former player was also arrested in the same incident. According to police, officers were called out to a disturbance in the 300 block of East Sixth Street at 1:29 a.m. The officers asked the four men to leave the establishment. But when they refused, the officers took them into custody, police said Players Alex Okafor, Kenneth Vaccaro, Barrett Matthews and former player Eryon Barnet were charged with failure to obey a lawful order, a misdemeanor charge. Barnet was also charged with failure to identify himself. He is in Travis County jail.
dude you are really obsessed with UT, I mean anytime something bad happens you are the first to mention it. Must have some sort of huge envy over the reign of UT's influence in the state of texas, brah
I knew bigtexxx was some kid screwing with people. According to that blog he was born in 89 which would have made him 13 or 14 when he started his trolling.
lol... Speaks to how much you watch college football. 1) Texas is two years out from going to the National Championship game in 2010. 2) Texas is a top 7 program all-time; it belongs in the ranks of OU, USC, Michigan, Alabama, Ohio St., and Notre Dame. It will always be regarded as one of those popular teams so yes it does have that "Yankees, Duke, Cowboys syndrome". 3) Texas also usually recuits in the top 10 every year 4) Texas has the largest revenue of any program in the country. Speaks to the popularity of the program even outside of Austin and the state of Texas. So the jealousy does exist. Nothing wrong with it though.
lol merchandise and recruiting champions! WOOP WOOP too bad Baylor owns you in all sports now. BAYLOR
Baylor owns all but 7 other teams in men's basketball, Rice included. Baylor owns all teams in women's basketball, Rice included. Baylor owns all but 12 teams in football, Rice included. Baylor currently owns all teams in college baseball, Rice included. Rice owns all teams in ugly girls cheering them on. Baylor and UT included.
Yes, MORE ARRESTS! Of course, you had to bump a FOUR YEAR OLD thread to indicate those MORE ARRESTS, but obviously there's a pattern of behavior here...that repeats every 1/5 decade or so. Plus, they were arrested for "failure to obey a lawful order", not the actual disturbance. This could be something as simple as not doing what the cop says fast enough for his/her liking. Not exactly master criminals, here. This is so much weak sauce.
Captain Reach is reaching around again! UT players refuse to leave a pizza parlor, meanwhile Rice football players were arrested for carrying drugs and weapons. Sounds to me like the real thugs reside at Rice U. Also SCOREBOARD! Remember those 9 TD passes?
