The shield if made of Vibranium. So I guessed it's capable of absorbing such hit from Thor's Hammer, Hulk or any other forces.
Just got back from watching this movie with my nephew. He and I absolutely loved this movie. Our favorite character was def the hulk. This is how the hulk should have been portrayed all these years. Will watch again!
Yessir! I hope in the next Avengers movie, they'd kill off Nick Fury. The guy is pretty useless and almost as annoying as Capt's whiny boyscout self. I think they toned down everyone's personality in this one and accentuated Tony and Capt's. Would be cool to see Thor's cocky Asgardian personality shine through on the next one.
Just saw it again and I liked it even better the second time. I definitely liked it better without the 3D -- had no trouble figuring out what was going on during the action sequences. Fiance complained about the slow first half, and it being the Iron Man and Friends movie. I won't lie it is a bit Iron Man-centric, but I think the other characters get their time (for those counting, Hulk / Cap are my favorites).
Just came from greens point and it looks like they lowered their prices. 13 bucks I spend. I sat right behind the dbox and thought of getting it. Can you do dbox and 3d? I haven't seen any 3d at the theater.
Kinda long and dragged out. But gets my point across. He gets waaaay too much airtime to stand around screaming into his bluetooth. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/WmDD6adII6g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Nick Fury, thy self art uselesseth.
You should watch the old live action show. Its very good, and you truly get to see Bruce Banner's emotions as he contains something he cannot control.
Take away Loki's staff, choke him with his own armor. Bash those aliens with their own vehicles. Crush those Leviathan armors.
I have very limited knowledge on the Marvel world, but I think the Avengers would still have found a way to assemble without him. Maybe someone else could have the initiative of introducing the team to one another. Even if I'm wrong and without Nick the Avengers wouldn't have assembled and he deals with the bureaucrats, his screen time in the movie could have been greatly reduced IMO. Give some of his minutes to Hawkeye or something.
His screen time is more about Sam L and Nick Fury really. Nick is a good characted and is the ultimate spy but He has mainly been a background character Rocket River
Planet Hulk / World War Hulk (immediately follows Planet Hulk). Shortly after that is the Red Hulk story line (it's not as good, but naturally there's a lot of Hulk. Plus there's a Red one -- ooooh pretty colors), but I can't recall what the arc is called. May just be called Red Hulk. As for Magneto destroying Loki etc; it'd be a good fight. I mean there's an Avengers vs X-men story arc running right now. For now, we have other nerds who have done all the debating for us (Spoiler: Looks like it's a landslide victory for Loki over Magneto. Most don't think it would be close either): http://www.killermovies.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-522886-loki-vs-magneto.html
