Over, and if I make it to work without it I will drive all the way back home to get it. I get bored at work and need my HBO Go.

Over, and I can't function without it. Gotta have my music/podcasts on the bus. And the wife usually texts me pics of our boys throughout the day.

I'm anal about it, actually. Every morning, I do my "wallet, keys, phone" check 3 or 4 times before I leave.

I used to. I didn't get a CP until sen. year of HS, all through college I always had my phone on me. Now? I don't even charge it half the time. It dies every single day because I pretty much only charge it on my way to and from work.

I kind of like being impossible to get ahold of. Plus there's really no one I need to talk to except fam, and I generally talk to them on the way home while my phone is charging.

I do hold on to it very tight when I am near toilets...

Had an accident a few months ago. Poor boy was sunk amongst some brown logs....

It's getting harder and harder to ever disconnect from the grid.
    Even for a moment. :(.

It's not like "I freak out", but I understand it's a necessity. I don't panic if I don't have it, and I can be a few hours without it. If something in the office or work/job breaks, I know I can count on other peeps to handle it if they don't find me. BUT, on days when I'm "on call", I make sure I don't misplace it.

I trust my coworkers and family enough to leave my phone lying around without locking it.

With underaged children, you kinda sorta need to have one.

Ah, yeah... she sends me pics of the girls.

    ;) I keed! I keed!

I don't freak out, but I always carry mine with me. I don't have a land line.

Outside the home the cell is in "in case of emergency" mode so as long as one of us has a phone, which more often than not is the wife, I'm good without one...just talking about leaving the house for the evening.

I'm 25, and typically wish I didn't need to even have a cell phone. I think I'd be pretty happy to just leave it off unless I actually needed to make a call.

I chose OVER and DON'T freak out.

Though it should be over, and really I SHOULD freak out. I don't freak out is cuz I don't have the big social life to NEED it :( :) If you know you're not getting calls and texts in advance, then its whatever.

Though I've had a cell for a decade, I havent had a true full time long-term smartphone yet. But in my limited smartphone use, yeah life is SO MANAGABLE on 3G and 4G phones. I'll get one soon and wont look back.

Surpringly most of the choices is UNDER and DON'T freak out. But thats cuz the under 35 CF members just outnumber the over 35 to begin with. The ratio of DO/DONT though is wider for over 35, so the under 35 do freak out more in percentage.

under, wish cell phones didn't exist.

nothing more freeing than going somewhere without the obligation of talking to people you don't want to talk to.

of course, i have a dinosaur flip phone, so it's not like i can do anything but talk, text, and play paddle ball.

I hate the idea of people being able to contact me at any time. I went without a phone for about a week last year, it was amazing.

I don't freak out, but I have to caveat it. If I forget to take my phone with me to work, it's no big deal because I have an office phone. It's a minor inconvenience. If I don't have it at home (which never happens), well my wife still has hers. There is no landline. But, if for some reason there are no phones at all, that'd be a problem. I probably can't go more than a day like that. I don't freak out though; I just go get my phone.

Freak out like because you can't access it, or freak out because maybe you lost it?

I don't freak out without access, but if don't have it and I can't remember where it is, I freak a little bit.

I freak out and beat up random people when I don't have my cell phone with me, it's crazy, sometimes I even accidentally kill some of them in the heat of the moment.
