i was watching espn a day ago and they were arguing about who to trade, and someone was saying they should trade melo because amare is untradeable. I really dont see the knicks giving up on melo but i can see them being desperate to get amare out by packaging him with lin, or shumpert or a future draft pick.

They should give up on BOTH and start over from scratch. Neither will lead them anywhere.

Amare can't rebound or play defense, and now can no longer score at a high level.

Melo doesn't play defense, and can't play well when the ball has to be shared.

they have to keep melo, they need atleast one superstar in NY. Competing with NJ is going to make their life hell if the Nets can get some good FA aquisitions.

Honestly Id take amare if he came along with shumpert and lin and a first rounder in the future for martin and scola. I remember amare tore it up last season before melo, so i think the ball stoppage is the main problem, along with the pg woes. I could see goran and amare meshing well, they did play together for a season right?

Who wants to play with Melo though? The guy can't play at a high level if he doesn't take 20 shots consistently.

And you're expecting too much for martin/scola.

Nobody would trade for Amar'e and that contract.

I would take Carmelo over Amar'e any day. Amar'es contract is Joe Johnson level

Bosh may miss the game after the birth of his son. Does that change anything?

ESPN reported that Bosh has flown back to New York and will be playing today.

well martin and scola would help out the knicks by alleviating some of the long term salary they would have to deal with if they keep amare. I can smell blood because look at the knicks they are desperate, they barely make 8th seed and thats to the heroics of a win streak with jeremy lin. Right now would be fleecing time.

    douglas
    martin
    melo
    scola
    chandler

with novak and maybe fields if they re sign him. Its decent and its not killing soo much cap and plus martin expires and they could possibly try to land someone with the cap space. Id have to want either lin or shumpert with amare. Maybe all 3 would be difficult or 2 out of the 3 and a draft pick.

    Houston could look good
    dragic, lin
    lee, shump
    parons, chandler
    ppat our draft pick
camby possibly another draft pick. if we do go that route we could even go for the old guys like kg or something. and your forgetting lowry is going to be a big trade chip. Ok maybe im getting wayy to hypothetical.

anyways no bosh and no amare tonight
looks like melo will take 25-30 shots should be interesting

WTF LeBron? That reads like the birth of your child is more like the death of a loved one.

How about the game being a way to channel all the excitement and euphoria?

Lin will not get traded. He has too much profit potential. Ironically, being asian is what is going to guarantee him a semi- tenured position on the knicks. on top of all of that he's a decent starter. but moreso the taiwanese/chinese thing.
Melo or amare will be gone before Lin.

Which team will stop the Miami Heat from winning the Eastern Conference for the next 3 years? Will anyone besides Lebron win the MVP for the next 3 years?

The answer to both your questions resides on the health of D.Rose.

However, Durant may have a say so in the MVP banter.

PS: D.Granger's lack of athleticism means the Pacers will only tease people.

So let me get this straight, you are going to place Amare on our inactive roster? I guess you are counting on him getting injured the minute it is announced he is a Rocket. :(

Too bad the Knicks gave up that 7-0 run to close the half. Melo with the tech and forgetting the shot clock.
