Tons of potential there. I would send Lowry,Martin and our two first rounders for the guy. I think he will be that special.
If we wanted him, it would take a lot less than that. I believe they were in talks for a straight up deal for K Mart at last years trade deadline.
The deal would make sense. They do not need him, and we have money to resign Dragic and pick up a max player. Dragic Turner Parsons Scola Camby Money spent on a Max player could bring in a star. We have a chance to really upgrade this summer.
whoa..2 good starters and 2 1st round picks for a player who hasn't proven anything yet besides a underwhelming rookie season? He's gotten better but you're jumping the gun.
Probably true, but you have to take risk to get better. Brandon Roy was a superstar, and Kevin Martin is expendable with Lee as well as Lowry with a resigning of Dragic. Obviously if you can get him for less than go for it, but this guy has a ton of game.
What about Dalembert and a #1 and a #2 for Turner? Or Morris, Patterson and a #1? Think they might bite on either of those?
appreciate where youre coming from, but you cant really evaluate evan turner through one of his better games without watching him play through one of his poorer ones. hes a great play maker but he can go through stretches of games where he absolutely disappears and does nothing. doesnt score rebound or defend. hes got a long way to go in terms of consistency.
They would need a true pg (Lowry) and a scorer to compliment Iggy. You may be able to get him for those two guys, but I think his value exceeds what we would offer. Lou Williams holds him back. It's an interesting situation. But I see a ton if talent there.
Of course, but the guy is gifted. Is a triple double threat every night and can create his own shot with ease. The Sixers are filled with chuckers(Holiday,Meeks,Williams, Iggy). Hard to develop on that team. I know we can get him for cheaper, but his value exceeds what we would offer. When Turner started this year, he really stepped his game up.
That's cool that you like him and all, but that is a pretty hefty price to pay for someone as unproven as he is. With that being said, this deal wouldn't even work because this deal is grossly weighted on our end and the money leaving the Rockets for just Lowry and Martin is max-contract type money ($18 mill) alone compared to Turner's <$5 mill. Turner has potential, but you don't need to give up that much for him. The Rockets would be better off simply using their draft picks for Turner-caliber players because there certainly are a few in this draft.
There would obviously be a filler with him. Hawes? But I disagree, there is not many players in this draft with his potential.
You like him that much. But no one else in the league does, including the 76ers. Not a bad guy but you don't pay Brandon Roy prices for guys who could be Brandon Roy....Kyle Lowry is still a more coveted player alone than Evan Turner is....him and a pick is all I'd give. I hate Martin but you can't just throw him in, I'm sure Adelman would give up something for him considering he is the only guy Martin will apparently work for. God Martin a ****ing p***y....
