lol, I'm perfectly happy with Jennings as my point guard. Harden is really my point guard anyway, Jennings will be playing off the ball.

Yea because he's totally a knockdown shooter. His game doesn't rely on his ball handling and speed at all.

 

So does Monta Ellis's game and he plays off ball just fine. Jennings is also a great defender and can get out on the break with Harden, Batum and Durant.

 

Every steal he gets is outweighed by the 5,000 easy buckets he gives up per game.

 

Not really, he's actually a pretty good on-ball defender.

 

you guys are ridiculous with your assessment of monta's defense. HE IS AN EFFECTIVE DEFENDER.

And yes, Monta sucks on defense that's why i traded him.

 

And people here called martin a "decent defender". Ellis gambles way too much trying to get steals which sometimes lets his man get by.

So deng and parsons are pretty much a wash.

Not when one of them are going to be helping out on paul and ginobili working your poor defensive backcourt.

Come on man, seriously? Smith isn't going to carry your team. Smith can get his while ellis starts chucking shots with green and ginobili defending him and the rest of your team gets shut down.

Please, he'll be facing 7'1 hawes and 6'11 and strong perkins who can easily box him out so it's not like he'll be owning the boards.

Your rebounding edge isn't as high compared to mine. My guys rebound close enough to yours in less time so it's not like they'd get dominated on the boards. I have the manimal and chandler bang starting for a reason.

monta and miller are both great at creating for their teammates and can set up deandre AND smith in pick and rolls while deng sits as at option at the 3 point line. i know parsons is a good defender, but i won't be needing deng to be a primary playmaker.

 

My backup combo guard pwned Ellis this year. Henderson is a lockdown defender, Ellis...not so much.
