Not really, he would not put faried at the 5 because he has no scola type moves. Most likely he'd keep hawes at the five due to him being the only one with decent post moves. I could see parsons at the 4 because he's long and mobile enough to keep up with j-smoove.
Your defenders are from 3-5 and my backcourt WILL command double teams. Miller won't be able to keep up with paul and ellis just plain can't defend ginobili. At least ONE of your defenders will be forced to help out on paul/ginobili whoever is handling the ball when i run some pick and rolls which will can cause an alley-oop/easy basket from faried, open 3 from parsons, or a mid range shot from hawes. Highly doubt they'd get devoured.. They're not monta ellis on the defensive end.. Parsons has already proven he is a great defender and deng is no kobe and we all saw parsons defend him very well. Jordan has no post moves and his only scoring options are putbacks and alley-oops so i don't really see a problem there with hawes. Smith is my only concern with your team, faried isn't that great of a post defender, but as long as he tries to keep him out of the paint and contest his jumpers i'm fine with whatever outcome.
i don't know why you guys are hating on monta's defense so much. he is a at least a decent defender who can create turnovers. you guys make him sound like kevin martin for crying out loud. deng is a very capable scorer, i don't need him to do much besides hit open jump shots which he can do very well. faried is going to have a hard time dunking over deandre and smith. smith is going to be my primary scorer, which is your weakest position (not good for you). i know deandre can't do much offensively, but he'll be my garbage man with offensive rebounds and put backs. deandre is a better rebounder than hawes. smith is a better rebounder than faried. deng is a better rebounder than parsons. and our starting guards are pretty much the same in rebounding, yours being like .2 better. you'll be shooting a lot of jumpers, which is beneficial to me since there will be many rebounds. mwahaha monta and miller are both great at creating for their teammates and can set up deandre AND smith in pick and rolls while deng sits as at option at the 3 point line. i know parsons is a good defender, but i won't be needing deng to be a primary playmaker.
