Umm, I don't think EITHER team was playing for a championship since it was the first game of the first round.:confused::confused::confused::confused:

Is that your way of avoiding my obvious point, which was the the grizz aren't serious contenders?

I have my opinions on who the serious contenders are, but I don't think your "point" is as obvious as you think.

The only "serious" contender was and is miami. Every other team has holes. The bulls couldn't beat the heat last year and they wouldn't have beaten them this year either.

Are you seriously this dense?? Please tell me you're trolling. The Grizzlies AS A TEAM might not EVER recover from blowing one game in a first round playoff series?? If your team is that weak-minded, then they don't DESERVE to be there.

Derrick Rose shredded his knee, will need major surgery, and will have to undergo months and months of grueling rehab just to get back to a point where he can run again. For a player that relies on his athleticism the way that he does, this could affect the rest of his playing days (at least for a long, long time). Case Keenum couldn't bend his knee straight 10 months after tearing his ACL.

The heat didnt win a ring last year, so how do they not have holes? Every team in the NBA has holes.

Plus, you can't discount the impact experience has on teams. The heat's experience made them more focused, but Chicago's made them more hungry. The experience the Spurs had gave them a sense of urgency. Teams don't just improve or change on paper.

This isn't even a legit question. The Grizz lose one game out of a potential seven games while Rose is the key for the Bulls to go far in the playoffs.

Monumental loss is crippling but can be overcome. You can't overcome the MVP's tearing his ACL.

For all you know Memphis wins it all still but Rose will still be out most of next year and it will take him 2 years to get back to elite. If he gets there again.

    Epic Fail dude.

Do you not know the story of Clutch City? The Rockets blew 2 giant leads in the first 2 home games against the Suns. One of them was a 20 point lead too.

"what" is just playing with you guys. Comparing the epic Grizz collapse to losing rose lessens the sting. saying it's worse makes everybody talk the Grizz up for the rest of the series like a rallying cry. he doesn't really mean it, he just wants everybody to talk about how they will come back and make last night seem less significant. Of course losing rose is worse.

How is this even a discussion? The Bulls could've won a championship this year before Rose went down. The Grizz, at best, are a second round team even if they win.

Yeah nice try. But the Bulls were a serious contender and did have a legit shot at beating the Heat. That was most definitely the case.

Again, Dallas collapsed against Brandon Roy last year. I think they did pretty well though after that
