Does anyone know if they are going to omit the Reeds or just have them come in late? Are they listed anywhere in the cast?
It hasn't been said, but there seems to be a good chance that the Winterfell storyline will be extended into next season. A certain Snow hasn't been cast either.

If they were going to introduce them it'd make the most sense to do it now. I suppose they could write them in later but it'd be kind of random. Also, there was a question about it before, but tonight kind of confirmed to me that they're leaving the Edric Storm bit out. Not so much a big loss there though. I can see why they'd cut it and write around it.
Yep Spoiler I assumed that they were leaving out Edric Storm when they moved they demon birthing scene prior to Renly's death. I don't know how they can do with out the cranogmen Joje and Meera, they are just too important to the story.
Fantastic episode last night. Might have been my favorite so far. The conversation between Arya and Tywin was great. You really get to see some of the steel and smarts Arya possesses there. And they always throw just enough humor into the episodes to keep my laughing but not so much that it becomes silly. The conversation between Tyrion and Lancel was great, and then the "demon monkey" was even better. Man I love me some Dinklage. A minor nitpick, but I was a little disappointed in the Renly death. I know the shadow sneaks up so we don't see much of it, but it happened so fast and the sword (was it a sword? It was a sword in the books, right?) stabbing through his chest looked bad, like effects-wise. Maybe they knew the FX weren't up to par which is why the cut in and out of it so fast. The little bit of dragons were spot on, though. If they only got one CG bit correct this season, then I'm glad it was the dragons.
it appears that osha will be taking place of the reeds, the conversation between bran and osha was the conversation bran had with the reeds except the dream was jojen's the renly death was well done in my opinion, in my mind i thought the warlock would look like the pyromancer and the pyromancer would look like the warlock, waiting to see how the arya arc develops Spoiler it looks like weasel soup is going to get cut out, and roose bolton will occupy harrenhal some other way once tywin leaves for blackwater
Me and the wife are both non book readers and we were both taken off guard by the Renly, so sudden and most of the major actions seem to happen at the end of episodes, thought it was very well done. Episode overall was probably my favorite of season 2 thus far.
There was this subtle smile on his face combined with a short silence and stillness in the scene. Usually that's a signal that a character is about to be killed, so I had a feeling something bad was about to happen as soon as he stopped talking.
Surprised no one mentioned the fact that in the book Dany's wardrobe in Qarth including having one breast exposed. Major disappointment in that little change in the series. That was how the civilized woman dressed in Qarth. Oh well, I'll just have to get over it. On another note. In the book Renly was dressed in his armor when he was murdered by the shadow. That little fact played an important role latter in the series but can easily be written out with out affecting the story. I don't know how they can omit Jojen and Meera with out a major change to the story. I read somewhere that they might be introduced next season but I have no idea how they will do it. All I know is that they are major Charecters in SoS.
Yep Tyrion is in beast mode right now. I love how he is dominating Cersie, Joffrey and Lancell right now.
Wonder if it had to do more with the actress, I mean she's done nude scenes but walking around countless hours shooting scenes with the cast and crew with one breast out all the time might become a tad much.
I don't know about you guys, but my wife would not stop commenting on how hot J'aqen is. Maybe it was turning her on the way he spoke in the third person, or that he was helping Arya or that he apparently is a madly skilled assassin...but I just wasn't seeing it.
