Just had an argument at Subway

    I ordered a 6-inch Veggie Delight + Chips + Drink combo.

    They wanted to charge me over $6 for it. I argued that they should only charge me $5 because of the Daily Special. A "veggie delight" is the same thing as whatever sandwich was on their special, minus the meat. He eventually consented and gave me the discount, but suggested that next time I would have to pay full price.

    Was I wrong?

    You should have ordered the special with the meat on the side.

    Next time just order whatever sandwich was on their special, minus the meat. Because whatever sandwich was on their special was what was on sale. Not a 6-inch Veggie Delight + Chips + Drink combo.

    anyone remember that subway by frenchys near UH? the old crappy one on cullen and wheeler?

    so aa few years back i go in and get a sandwich. then i ask the worker to give me a cup for water. he handed me this 8 oz gargle cup and charged me 75 cents for it. i got into an argument with him about that.

    then i got drafted by the grizzlies and made millions.

    Is the subways next to frenchys not there anymore? I went there all the time and saw people ask for a cup for water and then put soda in them anyway. I guess that's why they charged.
