I cringed when I heard we signed Sammy D - not because he couldn't help this team, but because he COULD help this team. I wonder how many spots in the draft we fell for signing a guy who has no future with this team. I can't believe I'm saying this, but we're lucky Lowry had health issues this season and we were at least able to keep our first round pick.

Do you guys watch the games? Do you guys watch the pregame reports? IF you do not know what f is being said prior to then how the f do you have so much bad stuff to say.

its been said time over time that Dally is supposed to have a hip surgery and that multiple games (late in the game) he is hurting so stays out usually second half.

If you havent noticed but Camby is wearing stuff on his hands and its probably painful too.

its those times when we dont have the big guys out.

IMO, I dont think McHale is pleased too much with Scola.

How many more years do you guys think Camby puts up 10+ boards per 36? I'd go with 2.

Exactly (on the Dalembert part)... felt the exact same way when it was announced.

It was an unwise signing done by an organization that took a short-sighted view. I'm confident he will be dealt though, given the partial guarantee on his deal for next season.

Does dally have any trade restriction if his option is picked up? Or can he be traded in the offseason?

The Rocket may be better off just paying him the $1.5 million buyout and use the resulting cap room rather than taking back money in a trade.

IDK I think it really depends on who we draft... If we draft a young big like either Tyler Zeller, John Henson or Arnett Moultrie...

I would prefer not to extend Sam, and just let the draft pick(Zeller, Henson or Moultrie) and Greg Smith handle the back up minutes.

If its makes it easier to keep Dragic then yes. Yes please. If not, then unless we can find a better C, then no thanks.

So I guess no one is expecting a full summer with McHale to work wonders for this guy? I thought Kevin was supposed to be a master at developing bigs?

If Dalembert is worth ~3 extra wins for the Rockets as you feel, then he'd be worth a low 1st round pick. Which would probably allow us to move up from 14th to 11-12th that you feel we'd be at without him.

Moves like these are more or less without risk. While the reward is potentially high. I know after 3 years of .500 these sort of moves become a little stale, but in the grand scheme of things they can't really hurt unless you're tanking hard.

Rockets are paddling in the water.... not sinking nor swimming nor floating...struggling for air, going up and down
