    Well schette.

The only thing that would stop the Heat now is if their two superstars also get injured. They'll probably bulldoze through the East and I hope they get overconfident and really underestimate whoever makes it out of the West.

Billups won a championship, Rose is an MVP, Penny went to the Finals, Gilbert brought weapons to the arena.

that other guy just burns bridges, had plenty of years where he wasn't hurt.

I'm pretty sure he over work his asses off in the off season and also the way he plays recklessly or too aggressively sooner or later it's going to catches up with him.

All of these clueless people claiming 9 months, 1 year + for recovery, out all of next year, never gonna be the same, never have the same first step, etc...

Jeez get your ****ing facts straight before you post this stupid ****...

ACL injuries are ALL DIFFERENT. The recovery time depends on multiple factors... The severity of the tear, the person who tore their ACL, surgical methods, rehabilitation methods, etc...

D Rose is one of the hardest workers in the game, at least from everything we hear.. I wouldn't be surprised if he is back on the court before the typical recovery time. He might take up to a year to regain his full strength and flexibility in his knee but by no means should we expect him to not come back as the same player. Advancements in medical procedures help to shorten recovery times. There are a variety of ways to repair an ACL as well, it depends on the tissue graft that is used as the replacement. Patella tendon, hamstring, etc.

Point is, D Rose is a professional athlete and will have access to the best surgeons and most advanced surgical procedures. His rehab will also be top notch. Some of the biggest keys will be how well his body accepts the tissue graft (whether it's from his own tissue or an allograft) and how fast his body can recover from the injury. If all goes well, I would expect Rose to come back just as strong and in a relatively short recovery time.

One of the biggest long term issues with this type of injury is that he is now more susceptible to reinjuring his ACL and possibly tearing it again. Only time will tell for sure, but there is no reason to jump to ridiculous conclusions.

It's in poor taste (bad timing), but he could be right. Rose's shoes have a heel that flares out (the Lebron's don't), and it's the heel that caught the floor during his injury. Also, the ankle support is significantly different. One could argue rose's shoes have too much.

I know Nike put out some shoes with a very similar heel before, but perhaps they went away from it because of bad reviews and that's why this guy is jumping on Adidas?

    This is from 05:

By the way, wasn't shumpert wearing Adidas also?

I think the real cause was over stabilizing his ankle with high top shoes and braces, but 2 injuries like this cant be good for a shoe company...

Ask Penny and Gilbert if they wish their careers turned out different. Ask Rose if he feels good about how this season went injury-wise. Ask Billups if he's lucky how his season ended.

Dude has a point, now for f...in sake leave out your stupid hate for T-Mac out of your reply, it was a good observation with the #1 jersey and you have to come in to spill your retarted **** about McGrady, which doesn't add to the post at all.

Rose and Shumpert didn't play a lot(whole season wise) compared to the rest of the NBA, your statement is dead wrong. That stuff just happens, you can't do anything about it.

So many guys are destroying their career with dumb tweets, it's hilarious. Never speak your mind in public if the topic is hot.

btw, Curry is wearing Nike, so that stuff is stupid. There's no shoe that prevents you from injury.

All these shoes look r****ded to me. Basketball shoes should be basic and linear with a minimal amount of protruding edges. I like Wades:

If you have ankle problems, wear a brace. When a shoe tries to do too much, it compromises it's value. Outside of that, Chicago should probably look into DRose's diet and off court lifestyle - instead of scapegoating the trainers and shoes. This is the same guy who fell asleep with a knife in his bed while cutting an apple.
