In the month of January he avg'd 17, 10, a block and a steal on 56% shooting and only 10 shots a game. He's shown a ton of promise in Minny, and if he wasn't next to the best PF in the game he'd be killing it. I'll admit though, I'm probably homering because I have a man crush on him.
Can't describe how much of a steal this would be for the Rockets, but I doubt Minny would go for it straight up. Who knows, it would be a good fit for both teams so I guess it is possible...
If that deal is there, I would be all over it. Good point guards have become a dime a dozen (we had three good ones at the beginning of the season), but how many good centers are there? Gotta go for scarcity.
Well done every team gets better in this trade. Both Kyle Lowry and Kevin Martin seem to have a "disconect" with the coach - so maybe a new team may do them some good.
Please let's remember that Pekovic only has 1 year left on his contract before unrestricted free agency. Martin for Pekovic straight up probably isn't realistic. But maybe Martin + something else.
Yeah, the T-Wolves will totally trade Pekovic for a future 2nd round pick and Greg Smith. They'll be getting ready 2013-2018 Timberwolves dynasty.
I like this move. We would have to get fillers back like Wes Johnson and and have to move out Bud to Minny. Pekovic's got game and he's 26 or 27. What if we then trade Scola and Morris for Reke and Garcia (waive)? Then draft miller with ny pick Dragic Evans/ Johnson Parsons/ Miller Ppat/ Donatas Pekovic/ Camby Parsons
