Ah ****. Here come the UH homers pushing for him to move up. He'll stay with the club for a year or two and then get waived.. if that long. Yates a miles ahead of him. He won't get a chance in with us.
lol Coming from a UT fan, that is rich. Anyway, I am a UH and Keenum fan. If Keenum ever sees the field for us, the Texans are in deep ****.
Nah, we aren't delusional like the T-Sips who still insist Baby Vince is a starting level QB in the NFL. Case will hold a clipboard and maybe get a chance at some point if there are enough injuries. Then after a nice little career, he will be an AMAZING coach. But, Vince will always have a place in the heart of the Burnt Orange set even when doing personal appearances at Austin area Golden Corrals, in the end, isn't that really what matters.
Big UH fan and glad he is singing with the Texans but I'm definitely not pushing for him to be anything other than a practice squad/3rd string QB for us. And hey, at least the 4th preseason game at Reliant will have some excitement heading into it if Case is slatted to play a lot of the game.
this way they just guaranteed a sellout crowd for the first and second preseason games for the duration of Keenums tenure here. Great marketing ploy.
Nice! But under no delusions he'll amount to anything. Still I'd rather a former Coog take that 3rd string spot then some veteran has been.
Marketing ploy? I think the Texans already sell out all their games. And, coming off their best season ever, there is no need for any marketing gimmicks. I'm sure Keenum could have chosen a number of other teams to sign with if he wanted to. I think it is a good move by the Texans, nothing to lose if it doesn't work out.
