    I think it was random. We had 24 people so we had groups of 3 first to get it down to 8.

    The problem with 20 people is getting it down to a more divisible number.

    We could do a preliminary round knocking us down from 19 to 16 pretty easily.

    Just have groups of 6,6, and 7, and have a vote saying who the worst of those teams is.

    Then from 16 on, it is just like the NBA playoffs. The matchups could be decided randomly or based on draft order.

    I like the idea but we might need the groups to be smaller because it is tough to see who the worst of 6 teams is

    NCAA style. 4 pools. With Final Four. 5 teams in each pool. Figure out which is the worst team, then go through the bracket.

    Well in one of those matchups, the decision will be very easy. (not to call anybody out)

    I don't think it would be too tough in the others. Anybody in consideration of the worst of 6 teams probably wouldn't have a shot at winning the whole thing anyway.
