Watched him play all year. Pretty much the only consistent part of the A&M offense last season. Pretty much automatic. Also awarded kicker of the year.
The only weakness is that Bullock's leg isn't Janikowski or Mason Crosby. It's very good, but outdoors, he maxes out at around 53. Probably 55 or 56 in Reliant. So he likely won't give you the option of a desperation 60 yarder. Other than that, he's fantastic. His accuracy on 40-49 yard kicks was absurd - you could make the goalposts about two yards wide and most of his kicks would've been in. One of the more accurate college kickers that I've ever watched.
Yes he has a strong leg, probably top 20% in NFL, but accuracy and consistency are what made him stand out

The 6th round is a good round for drafting kickers. Only problem is that people are used to the old Texans who usually had one of the top picks in a given round, instead of a bottom of the round pick which we had this year. The kicker taken at the top of the 6th was only about 5 or 6 slots lower than where we got RB. They just didn't want to take the chance, and I won't blame them for it. I just hope he turns out to be a quality NFL kicker. Shame he doesn't have a Seabass type leg though. Although he could choke every once in a while with Kris Brown even the fga's from 54-58 yards out I figured he had a 50-60% chance of making them. Guess the 36 will be our "line of demarcation" from now on.
two teams picked a Kicker in the 6th round before the texans so who knows if Bullock would have been there for the texans 6th round. rams picked a kicker with the 171th pick, vikings picked a kicker with the 175th pick, and the texans had the 195th pick. and look the bills drafted a kicker in the 7th round, so maybe they would have drafted bullock in the 6th round before the texans did, so I think it was a good choice. alex henery was picked in the 4th round by the eagles last year.
