I don't think it tells you as much about Butler as it does their thoughts on Newton behind him. Agreed that DT isn't a major priority...but I do expect a 3-4 DE to be taken. Possibly targeting one that could occasionally slide inside. Cody's been solid at nose, but Mitchell hasn't really demonstrated that he's an answer there.
I also read they really like Derek Newton, the tackle they drafted in the 7th round last year. This staff really knows how to coach up offensive lineman so I am not worried. Chris Myers was an average center with the Broncos and they made him a Pro Bowl starter. Wade Smith was a journeyman lineman and now he is a good starting guard. Mike Brisiel was an undrafted guard and they made him a good solid starter in the NFL.

Streeter...would be a first or second round pick if he stayed an extra year in college. He's got some talent.
tommy streeter dwight jones marvin jones greg childs jeff fuller (although i dont like him as a prospect)
Well in that case.. Can't believe he got beat by a scrub like Ware. Yeah he looked bad against Ware, but as a whole he filled in well during his 4 week starting stint.
