    I can see this happening. Chron says maybe for colt McCoy. Colt would be a good fit as backup. Not sure y anyone would trade for jacoby though

    The way his contract is structured, there's only 300k worth of dead money on his contract. It's clear that if the Texans can't find a sucker who would take his contract, they'd just cut him. I'm guessing this is a "can't hurt to make some phone calls" situation. After all, the Raiders once managed to get a 2nd and a 3rd for Phillip Buchannon. You never know when you may find a stupid GM who may overrate a player.

    The guy that posted clearly stated that the Chron suggested he could ne traded for Colt, how is that being a Longhorn homer?

    And why wouldn't he make a great backup, extra insurance on Shaub never hurts, er bad choice of words....

    But who wouldn't take a backup with NFL experience and quality wins under his belt.
