Six I guess? I would say more of a range. Could be anywhere from 2-12. Just depends on what the teams in front of us think our assets... and how the lottery plays out. I think it would be virtually impossible to acquire Davis from any team, so #1 is right out, but he is the only surefire 100% superstar in this class. I can see a team like New Orleans or Sacramento or Washington trading us their pick even if it is as high as 2. Not saying it WILL happen, but it could.

So basically I just picked the middle ground... 6.

Rockets will disappoint us by moving down.

I would accept any move up. Speaking in terms of want? I want them to move into the top 8 at least. 8th would be fine. Maybe even 9th depending on who is there. Not picky. 14th is not a great spot again is all I know. We would be 1 to 3 spots too late to get a difference maker any way I look at the draft board falling for the Rockets at 14 again.

The only way that would happen would be to if we were getting back a proven all-star in trade, like Bosh, or Dwight

The Wizards still have the amnesty and Rashard is expiring after next year. No way they make that trade when they can clear up all that cap space on their own in a year or at the trade deadline.

That is not worth giving up the number 2 pick in the draft. Only old school Sterling would make a penny pinching decision like that. If Rashard had multiple years left on his deal I could possibly agree with the move but you don't give up the number 2 pick just to get rid of a guy that is making $7.7MM a year for the next three years. This board would be ready to riot if we made a similar deal.

If we traded our 2 2012 1st rounders for Orlando's 2012 and 2013 1st rounder it might be wise.

We have 1 less rookie looking for playing time this coming season and we take the gamble that dwight leaves the magic and orlando sucks next year pushing their 2013 1st rounder into the lotto.

Don't know if that trade is legal or worth the risk for either team, but just something I thought about.

Trade Lowry to the Hornets for the 10th overall pick, Jason Smith and a Lottery protected pick in 2013 (top 5)

    Draft Perry Jones 10th overall

    Draft Jeremy Lamb 14th overall

    Draft Tony Wroten 16th overall

    ----

We will then have the biggest and tallest team in the NBA

PG- Goran Dragic( 6'3), Tony Wroten( 6'5)
SG Kevin Martin (6'7), Jeremy Lamb( 6'6), Courtney Lee( 6'5)
SF- Chandler Parsons (6'10), Perry Jones( 6'11), Marcus Morris( 6'8)
PF- Luis Scola ( 6'9), Donatas Motiejunas( 7'0), Patrick Patterson( 6'9)
    C- Sam Dalembert ( 6'11), Jason Smith( 7'0), Greg Smith ( 6'10)

We would be the tallest team in the league
