Texans are going to go either TE or OL...They will get the best WR in the 3rd...(Hopefully Sanu is still there)...After that...expect...Lineman drafted in the 4th

I think it's a virtual lock they go WR unless all of the guys they value are gone.

Very doubtful the Texans would give up the appropriate compensation to move up from 26th in the round to the top of the round.

agreed. would you count fleener as a receiver since we use TE's as a receivers? =)
Since the rams are up for trades, I believe kubiak and co make a push, if not...DT will be nice around the time they select. alameda ta'amu is a wade type of player though a little heavier, a texas summer can shed 20 lbs. :p
I've been wanting a ta'amu for the longest time. The steelers or Ravens will probably end up with him though.

    ta'amu

I enjoy cody in the middle, but put a big nasty like ta'amu up there and that is a nasty front seven

Given all the defections, I think their need for depth is too great for them to trade multiple picks to move up.

Wouldn't it be great if this draft class turns out as well as '06 or '09. If it does, we' re looking at dynasty.

it's not that difficult, if you pay attention to see what kubiak and wade look for in their players.
and it's fun to speculate. :p

Even though a lot of mock drafts were wrong yesterday, here's what Kiper has for the second round if anyone's interested.

Wouldn't mind Quick, looks pretty good. Highlight video:

Again, I'm not a football expert by any means, but just watching highlights of Brian Quick I don't get how he's projected to be picked in the low 2nd/early 3rd.
The guy looks like a beast to me.

I mentioned this earlier, but I'll ask again. Would any of you trade to #33 to pick Fleener and keep the Clots from teaming him and Luck up? Also what would it take? Next year's 1st? Next year's first and a late round pick?

If we get Dwanye Allen and O.D. is healthy, we won't be worrying about our WR3 this season.

Yeah, i'm thinking it will be Ta'amu, Martin, Osemele or Silatolu tonight.

Wade's defense doesn't seem to put much emphasis on big DTs (or DTs in general) so I have a hard time seeing a 2nd round pick on that.

I think either WR or T for sure.

I wonder if Janoris Jenkins will slip? Think the Texans might bite?

If he lasts to their pick, I don't know how you cannot take a chance on him. Texans have a good locker room too. So I could see them keeping him in line.
