Just watched The Phantom Menace the other day for the first time in 5 years. Wow, I forgot how awful of a character Jar Jar is. An annoying distracting lizard that speaks spanglish. What other movies have characters that you feel were so awful, that a movie would have been better off cutting them out.
He's definitely up there. I don't think I've ever been so damn annoyed by a movie character before. Plus it's the worst Star Wars movie of them all, so he doesn't help it.
Love signs as much as the next guy but those kids in it annoyed the bollocks off me! I liked there character definition and role but they came off in a more of a "im a smartas$" to me.
Jar Jar never bothered me as much as Hayden Christensen and his whiny-ass portrayal of Anakin Skywalker.
Almost all CGI characters in the The Phantom Menace were freaking terrible. Halle Berry's Catwoman is another and Battlefield Earth with John Travolta.
you just don't like the fact all of evil Denzel's characters are somehow hispanic or have hispanic elements to them, but yet his good characters are always black.
Hmmm... that might be true, but... in almost all the characters, he's "the boss" and he tells people what to do, and everyone who is younger than him has to do what he says... that doesn't sound Hispanic to me. I don't think he's ever said: "Hey! You help me mow this lawn!" or "Hey! I'm the boss of the maintenance crew here" in any movie.
