Finally, something goes the Rockets way. They had a chance at 16 or 17 or 18 and win the tie-braker for 16.

Not bad. Not bad at all. 14&16 should be able to move us into the top 10, if we choose to go that way.

Into the top 10? Are we trading Lowry with those picks?

Couldn't we give one of them to New Jersey to satisfy our obligation?

So looking back at that trade, I guess Morey didn't "rape" the Knicks after all.

    No pick swap
    16th pick

    Knicks: McGrady, Sergio Rodriguez
Kings: Carl Landry, Joey Dorsey, Larry Hughes
Rockets: Kevin Martin, Hilton Armstrong, Jared Jeffries, Jordan Hill, right to swap picks(did not do so), 2012(16th) pick.

"This deal is about putting a team together, players who can help us now and in the future," general manager Daryl Morey said. "We're excited about how this sets us up for now and especially in the next year."

So Carl Landry for Kevin Martin + 16th pick + Dallas Pick

    Not too shabby.

14 and 16...is some serious trade ammo ...in this draft.

I say there is almost zero chance we use these two picks..we either trade up or trade out.

    write it down.
