I would be happy with Randle, Hill, Glenn or Fleener

Ta 'amu is a def. player I could see for a consecutive pick, but I really feel we'll address the offensive side O the ball

we shall see- prolly need to move up if we can

Once again, your 4th (at best) receiving option does not need to be a world-beater.

You guys severely overestimate rookie WRs.

I think some of you guys undervalue Walter's contribution to the team.

If you're a box score kind of person, then I can see why. The guy is a solid receiver...he will never be a WR1, but given his role on the team right now, he's a great fit.

He'll never even be a number 2 receiver. He fits great because he's basically a blocker that catches occasional 5 yard completions. That is it.

So you're saying he fits great? That was my point as well. His role in the offense is to block and catch occasional balls. Kubiak's offense doesnt require much more than that from a WR2 or WR3...when we have had a healthy QB and a healthy WR1, this offense has been one of the best, even with Walter and Jacoby manning the other two receiver spots. Clearly, we dont need much more than that.

I would still want a receiver with our 2nd pick, but to say that Walter is useless, like many here claim, is false. He is a key contributor to the offense, even if he doesnt get the "numbers".

actually you guys have it all wrong. we need to replace 'dre (getting old) not wr2 and wr3. we need a new wr1 since 'dre is getting older and always injured.

wr2/3 can be replaced by older FA or training camp cuts.

Its incredibly difficult to replace one of the best WR in the NFL with a late 2nd round selection. If we want to replace Andre, we'll most likely either have to suck to get a top 10 pick or we will have to get smart with our cap money and sign a FA when the time is appropriate.

This is what I've been saying all along.

We need to draft a 3 year project guy that can eventually take over for AJ.

Year 1 - Learning curve, contribute however you can, spot-duty for injuries, etc
Year 2 - Jacoby leaves in FA, take over WR3 and return kicks
Year 3 - Cut Walter, take over WR2
Year 4 - AJ hits 35, start transition to WR1

that's why i'm hoping for a trade up in the 2nd. i think there is some #1 wr talent left on the board. also we don't need him to be #1 right away maybe next year or year after.

hill, sanu, jeffrey, randle, streeter, all still available.

If we find moving up in the 2nd round difficult, I would bet that we wait for Streeter to drop to us in the 3rd, maybe even 4th, round, and focus on an OT in the 2nd. Street's got great hands and size, just needs some refining.

I would trade our 2nd and one of our 4th to one of the first 4 picks in the 2nd and grab Hill.

I think the Texans may consider drafting a TE...which is actually a smart call...The Texans were extremely efficient with the 2 TE sets...Would love to have a high end prospect TE...I dont think any Top ones are gone...

I hope Clemson TE Dwayne Allen slips to us in the 3rd.

Either him or Fleener from Stanford...6 6 guy with great reach...but kinda poor on the run block schemes...but great hands...and great speed

Allen has better down field blocking skills and makes ridiculous catches...but doesnt really have great speed.
