Like I said, you don't put up 22/11 on a good team if you aren't a good player. But it all means nothing unless CP3 is close to 100% Thank god the game isn't until Sunday.

Memphis has a better team but the Clippers have Chris Paul. It's going to a fun series.

Scared of what? Like I said, it's going to be a long series. Def. the Grizz get the edge with HCA, but the Clippers have had some quality road wins against the best teams so I give them a good chance to win one in Memphis. I think either of these teams will get dismantled by the Spurs in round #2 though.

We Clipper fans are just hoping CP is somewhat healthy. Kinda disturbing that he sat out the biggest game of the year. If he's healthy, the Clippers will always have a chance. He dismantled the Lakers in game #1 on the road last year.

Don't worry, he's just reeling from going from HCA to starting on the road. He thinks the grizzlies are overrated, but he don't realize that the grizzlies have 7 foot all star center, a 20/10 former all star in Zach Randokph, one of the clutchest shotmakers in the league in Rudy Gay, one of the best 6th men OJ Mayo, the best perimeter defenders in the game, TA, etc etc.

But he's hanging his hat on the fact that the clippers beat the grizzlies while the grizzlies were still at less than full strength.

Huh? I haven't done any **** talking here at all and am being waaay more realistic than you ("Blake isn't half the player of Rudy Gay"). I think the Spurs are a way better team than either the Clippers or the Grizzlies. I think the Clippers and Grizzlies are comparable, so HCA is a pretty big deal and probably will be the difference. I know you are riding high because the Grizzlies did really well last year, but it's a different team and a different year.

Realistically, the grizzlies took out the spurs last year and way a triple overtime win away to getting to the wcf.

Honestly, you disrespect the grizzles thinking that they are on the same level as the clippers who hasn't playoffs in what 10 years?

Believe me, the spurs nor the thunder want the grizzlies in the playoffs, I'm not sure why the clippers are so ecstatic about it, frankly?

What you are not counting is that the grizzlies are developing and moving toward being the best team in the league, rather than the way you apparently see them: as second round fodder to the spurs.

    I like the Grizzlies chances....

If Rudy Gay can show the world he's on Durant's level.

I don't know if the Clippers are ecstatic about it but as a fan, I prefer the Grizzlies to the Mavs (even though the Clippers were 2-1 against them) just because of matchups. I don't think the Grizzlies have any huge matchup advantages over the Clippers. They have good size, but not like the Lakers where it's a game-changer. They have great depth, but the Clippers depth is pretty good too. I just think the teams are evenly matched, and their records showed as much. The Clippers also played very well against the top teams (12-9 vs top 10 and 18-14 vs top-16, which is better than the Grizzlies who were under .500 in both).

Honestly, if anyone is doing the underrating, it's you. You seem to think the Clippers are this scrub team who are going to get swept or something. That's only going to happen if CP3 is really hurt. He's led teams worse than the Clippers deeper than this.

Also, the Clippers were in the playoffs in 2006, and went exactly as far as the Grizzlies did in their best ever run (game 7 of 2nd round) so it's not like it's some huge achievement. I actually like your team but if they were so great and were supposed to be title contenders like you seem to think, they would have done a lot better this year. They won't be facing an injured Spurs team should they manage to get by the Clippers. And that's a big "should".

The grizzlies had the more significant injury last year since Rudy Gay was out the whole series. Manu was out 1 game.

    As far as matchups:
You don't see any matchup advantages with the grizzlies because you are undervaluing our players. The grizzlies aren't the Denver nuggets, namely depth and descent players.

"...the grizzlies have size but it isn't like the lakers."
I implore you to go back and watch what our "size" did to the spurs and the thunders last year in the paint. Dismantled them.

Again, the grizzlies have a difficult player in cp3 to deal with, and we have to keep Blake under control. But the clippers have all kinds of issues with the grizzlies than you seem to discount.
