I'd do a Lowry and Scola trade for Bosh in a heartbeat. That'll also give more incentive for Dragic to re-sign.

 

Would rather throw all my chips in for D-Howard than this softie...but if its a team of charmin we want, then it is what it is.....

I said a long time ago that the smart thing for Morey to do would be to engage the Heat in trade talks for Bosh using Lowry, Dally, and Scola as bait because it would force other EC contenders to step forward and talk trade in an attempt to scuttle Miami getting better.

 

Lol, do you think other EC teams would like to talk us better or worse deal in this kind of attempt?

Lowry, Parsons, and two firsts for Howard. Use the TE to take back Richardson and Duhon.

Sign Williams for the max.

Re-sign Dragic.

I know trade for Howard, and sign Williams...sounds easy, but it's not. All of these assets need to be flipped, and Howard is the only player that can get a big name like Williams to sign with the Rockets. All of us saw what Williams did to the Rockets in the playoffs. The above trades leaves the Rockets with Dragic and Scola which might be enough for Bosh before the next deadline.

If Dragic is going to leave and we trade something like Scola and Dragic through a sign and trade for Bosh, we honestly got a steal.

 

Man, Bucher is dumb. Bosh is a low post player and is more efficient there than he is as a shooter from the high post. Every coach/GM in the league would rather have Bosh on the block than Scola.

 

I hope Dragic or our 1st round draft picks aren't one of our two best players..

 

The problem we have right now is that Scola is the only one that can post up.

Bosh is a wimp and miller is old and injured all the time.

Absolute win-win situation. It's an upgrade for us and as long as we have Dragic we aren't losing out if we give up Lowry or vice-versa.

Miami is very weak at PG (has been since the big 3 started) so they will be better off as well.

Plus Scola will give them a good shot at the title but doesn't have long-term legs in him so he's better off there than here.

 

Rather would have Bosh than Gasol...

 

What are you talking about Bosh is way more of a face up power foward, he is afraid to post up.

Just ask somebody in Miami, I think Miami would be better with Scola because he can post up better than Bosh.

You don't need to be a back to the basket player to be successful in the low post. Bosh has his jab step along with one of the quickest first steps in the league for a big man.

 

That would be a steal, for Miami.

You would give up Lowry for a lower fg% shooter, 4 more points a game and .2 more rebounds a game?

Miami would do that in a heartbeat.

 

Dwight's the better choice, obviously. Dwight's a natural center, and we won't need Camby and Dalembert, anymore. A Motiejunas, Howard front-court would dominate.

Getting a legit PG in Lowry frees up James and Wade to do whatever they want do - cut, set screens, etc.

More than that though, they get a PG who can defend Rondo and Rose, and who Rondo and Rose actually have to worry about defending on the defensive side of the ball.
