For what it's worth, there are flashing lights on the Woot page today.

    Scored!

Funny thing is that I've been watching the kids wootoff to try to score some xmas gifts for my kids...and really hadn't been paying any attention to the regular woot off. But lo and behold, the few minutes I'm zoning in on it, boom, BoC. I use the Wootalyzer to keep track of the woot offs...and using its Buy Item button somehow allowed me to get the buy it now screen before the main web page even displayed BoC. Lucky timing I guess.

    Well hello there.

I actually think I'm in the market for some Sansas and Bacon Salt for Christmas gifts; hope they show up, but man, since the Amazon buy-out, I don't think I've bought anything from Woot!.

Minimum wage copywriters in Dallas. They're good but I never read em'. Good copy would be bulleted product descriptions IMO.

Bought a new desktop today during the Woot! Off. HP Pavilion H8 Hexa-Core for $600. Seemed like a good deal. Should be more than adequate for my needs.

I've gotten one. Forgot what was in it. It is in this thread though. The stuff is worth more than the cost but I didn't get anything memorable (obviously). Legend has it they ship out a few gaming systems or TVs at random.

    Crap.

Got it twice in 2005... all I remember is a crappy laptop bag, a crappy jacket, a crappy wireless phone, and a crappy hat. There were a couple of other pieces of additional extra crappy crap. It all pretty much went in the trash.

They basically use it as a way to get rid of their cheap overstock.
