Ok, so it looks like some of you guys are not to fond of the idea, but why is everyone getting rowdy about having all these PG: Dragic, Lowry, D-Will , or possibly Nash. We would keep one of the PG we have now and add Nash. (just a scenario, don't go crazy now) Yes Nash is looking for a ring, but aren't we looking to win one as well.
First of all Nash is better than the PG we have now if would get him cheap you do it if your trying to make the playoff you do it...he can only help this team by getting the ball to players in spots other pg can't....I say keep Dragic, Lee and Camby try to get Nash and trade Lowry, Martin, maybe or maybe not Scola Nash/Dragic Lee/Dragic/Bud Parsons/Bud Scola/DMo/Ppatt Camby/Dally/DMo Of course Nash would have limited minutes but this team would be beast and with Parsons versatility to play SF/and a run and gun PF at 6'9 is great
Sure we are, but lets get real... Why not just stay in Phoenix then? They're just as close as Houston is!
Sound logic, except for one thing..........Nash is not coming here!!!! He will not come here to backup Dragic and Dragic won't come back to backup Nash as he has stated multiple times he is looking to be a starter!! We would be about 20th on Nash's list of championship contenders as we are not one. We have to be a playoff contender first and he is not coming here and wasting the last two years of his career trying to get us to the playoffs. If he were going to do that, he would stay in Phoenix!! If signs on the cheap as some of you have suggested, it sure as hell ain't going to be here as I would fully expect him to sign with the Mavs for a title run with Dirk or Miami.
If we can sign Nash and combine him with Camby, Martin and Scola, we can make a serious run at the 2008 title!
He represents the exact opposite of where the Rockets should be going. Which means Les is probably trying to get him.
how does this move help us for the future? Not the right direction. We need to find a core to build around first and foremost.
